I just got the 1st today, man is it awesome, I've only read the first issue so far, but wow! :wow:

This is the first Alex Ross book I've ever owned, I need more. I used to have a love hate relationship with his art but, I'm over that.:yay:

Alex' Riddler looks so cool!!!

You'll have to wait til the rest of the issues are out.
The next one out is #10 of 12.
If you want a little thing to hold you over till then, get Kingdom Come.
Best damn comic I've ever read.
It's illustrated by Alex Ross.

You forgot volume 2. It hasn't been released yet. That will be out Feburary 21st, and will collect issues #5-8.

Aw man, I have to wait even longer! I thought the series was over, now I have to get two more volumes, I thought there would be just one more, maybe I can find the issues I need and go from there instead of waiting for the tpb's.

But I must say, that 1st vol. is pretty, and that dust jacket is very nice.

I am interested in Kingdom Come. I'd like to check out Marvels aswell since I'm on the topic of Ross.

read Marvels by kurt busiek and Alex ross. its right up there with kingdom Come

I waited for vol. 1, but it was so good I'm gonna try and get the rest of the single issues cause I'm impatient.

Well, I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here, but maybe it's because Ross isn't doing the pencils on this book, which is why all the characters don't look slightly over-weight and in their 40s/50s?

The HCs for Justice are a waste.Just wait for the inevitable Absolute or start getting the singles.

DC is not going to be releasing this as one big SC trade, you can bet your ass on that.

Says you.

You could do it yourself. Some staples and tape, voila!

Also, I think Ross' art (if you can still call it that in this book) is better. Or, refreshing anyway. I like that it's not as super realistic, sometimes his characters could look like middle aged men in cheap halloween costumes. Plus the women look much better, I still think they're all way to muscle-y, but meh.

Muscle-y?Look at how Benes draws them,it looks like their costumes are painted on.

Yeah, but they don't look like female body-builders.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the Absolute on this as well.

Oh...I thought Vol. ! would have had Issues 1-6. Then Vol. 2 would have had 7-12.

Can't wait til the second volume comes out. I rather have the trade for stories that Ross works with than the single issues so I'm going to wait to read the rest til the other volumes come out.
