am i the only person that likes this guy ? lol. I think hes cool , hes my favorite character in the show. I think he is a mix of superman and lex what do you guys think?

He's OK. He's not a real likable character at this point in the show even though he has one of the coolest powers. Hopefully he embraces his powers and stops trying to ignore them while continuing to be a slimy politician.

Nathan is one of the few characters that I am certain will be a "bad guy" in the near future.

It brings up the whole brother vs. brother thing. He's a smarmy politician. Selfish. I foresee he and Jessica teaming up at some point. Maybe not on Sylar's side, but most certainly not on the "Heroes'" side.

Well I like him enough. It seems as though he does care about Peter but it's just...he's so ambitious that he would lock his brother in a institution if it meant he gain a few points in the polls. I dont know if he'll turn out to be a bad guy, that seems too obvious. I guess I should say I love to hate him.

He's certainly not a black and white character. I don't think he's the complete blackguard that he's some times perceived to be. I think he does care about his family but he's also a pragmatist.
In some ways I think he's not too different from Mr Bennet. They both probably chant the same mantra: the end justifies the means. I find them both quite fascinating. At least to the extent of wanting to know more.

Yeah that does seem to be their personal mantra. Plus you are right Nathan is definitely not a black and white character.

if anyone has paid attention throughout the episode threads sometimes I seem to be the only one playin Nate's Advocate

Vote Pittrelli

I think that there is something "Evil" about him. Maybe We'll find out more tonight.

Cool power but he's not so nice guy: cheats on his wife because she's a handicap, takes bribes and doesn't mind selling his brother while on the stage-the lie he told to the press about his brother being suicidal

maybe he will have a change of heart once he sees his brother save the world.

I can see the comparison between Nathan and Mr. Bennet, and I also find them interesting. I'm particularly interested in that they both seem to care about their families. They're quickly becoming my two favorite characters.

In fairness to Nate-Dogg, he didn't cheat on her because she's handicapped. She's handicapped and he cheated on her...with Ali Larter.

Also, his brother took the fall, not that Nate put up a big fight to stop him.

All in all, consider me a member of the Nathan Petrelli Fanclub.

He's got one of the coolest powers, but I'll like him a whole lot more once he accepts who he is and quits being such an ******* all the time.

Well at least we got some insight as to how long he's known about his power and why he feels so guilty about what happened to his wife. He scored a few brownie points we me during last night's episode.

This week's episode kinda took some of the stink of Nathan, but he's still a creep inside.

Nathan's one of the most interestingly complex characters in the show

I'm NOT a fan of Nathan. He was alright at the start, but they made him into a complete duchebag.

yeah nathan is one of the best hereos

that's exactly what's so great about him

Yeah, no offense. Don't get me wrong, I think the actor is fantastic. I just don't like the character as a person. I don't wish he was off the show, I just think he's a jerk.

I like that Nathan is murky and semi-bad - it gives his character some personality.

Still, I think they've gone a little too far on some things. I was really turned off when he cheated on his wife.

I'd go with explaining him as a mix of Daredevil and Superman...Supes power, with DD's denial, bitterness, and selfloathing...
