School is back in session for a lot of the younger hypsters... and the films have been pretty poor as of late... not much to look forward too. Only the addicts of the Hype remain... t:

Spider-man 3 was a let down. TDK was released 4 months ago and the TDK virals are long over. All the fake noob fans left because they realize comic related things really don't interest them. It's not trendy anymore.

The comic movie news is slow for now. Just the regulars are here.

Simple. There's nothing left to look forward to until Watchmen which doesn't come out till March. So, yea, it'll be quiet till...I'd say late January. Then, things will start rolling again.

I love how people are giving examples on how upcoming comic movies might draw more people here...yet Punisher: War Zone is coming out in just a few days.

This film seems to has the smallest buzz of any superhero film of the modern era.

I'll be lining up to see it, but I am not expecting to be impressed.
It simply hasn't been marketed enough, and what you do see screams low production values, people were convinced for the longest time that this would go straight to dvd.

Though the reasoning for that is solid...both movies look terrible...its a little disheartening that here at a superhero message board, Id bet that less than 20% of the people here have even read a Will Eisner story.

That's how this place is though, posters come and go in waves. About 6 months after X2 came out, the X-boards became pretty desolate... then there was Spider-Man 2 hype, and Batman Begins, and all, but in between major releases (or rather just after the summer season) it tends to spread out a bit.
