well you have to figure all of Metropolis was probably in chaos after the earthquake. Daily Planet was most likely shut down or under heavy construction so it's not like finding Clark would be an easy task. Jimmy is the only person who really cares for Clark and he was probably too excited about taking those close up photos of Superman carrying the globe. Lois, of course, probably could care less about Clark.

no one really cares about clark...which is sad. He's an important part of the mythos. and i'm not talking about smallville clark, i'm talking about the daily planet one. They totally brushed him off. I didn't like that in an otherwise awesome flick.

How long was his hospital stay....a few hours, a few days,a few weeks(doesn't truely say)......if it was short, no one would have noticed...if it was longer, they were used to Clark being gone (he had been gone for 5 years at this point).

i agree. this situation is much like the one after the doomsday rampage (go read death of superman if you don't know what i'm talking about). there's just too much going on that people either assume clark's somewhere safe or dead. i don't think enough time passed during supes' coma for anyone to get suspicious.

did anyone else wonder about the doctor's and nurses seeing superman's uh-oh?? someone had to take his costume off...and i'm sure they stole a peek. "just how super IS superman?!!?"
