Lol, "Heroes for Hire" is fantastic!

Anywho:

Captain America
Angel
Iceman
Iron Fist
Black Cat
Dr. Strange
Squirrel Girl

Yes, I really did include Squirrel Girl. She beats everyone.

The Avengers:
Captain America
Iron Man (Tony Stark has no super powers)
Hawkeye
Black Widow
Black Cat
Black Panther
Falcon

No super strength...guess I'd go more street level than use ppl like Strange.

Captain America as leader
Hawkeye
Iron fist
Deadpool
Blackpanther
Firestar
Dare Devil

Quicksilver does have superhuman strength in his legs.

Anyway:

CAP
Hawkeye
Cyclops
Iron Fist
Taskmaster
Daredevil
Xavier

Obviously you have to take Cap, just for the leadership so my team would be something like this.

1) Captain America
2) The Invisible Woman
3) The Human Torch
4) Daredevil
5) Storm
6) Shadowcat
7) Psylocke (I know she's been amped up but she still has normal strength right?)

I was going to pick Iceman but I figured that I needed a telepath somewhere and I wanted one that wasn't helpless if their telepathy didn't work on a villain, like an artificial lifeform. :venom:

My Team would be:

Cable
Deadpool
Punisher
Daredevil
Solo
Black Cat
Psylocke

Cyclops,Jean Grey, Iceman,Beast, Angel

Captain America-team leader and moral center.
Gambit-great powers, (you never know when you'll need to create an explosion,) and it's useful to have a skilled thief around.
Ironman-Tony Stark has no powers but he is great with technology and all that money and business acumen could come in handy.
Invisible Woman-Most powerful of the Fantastic Four and she's a good nurturing presence to have around anyway. Voice of reason and all that.
Storm-weather goddess. Enough said.
Psylocke-every team needs a psychic and/or a ninja-with her you get both!
Daredevil-to help them stay in touch with the streets.

captain america
union jack
daredevil
wolverine
nightcrawler
moon knight
black panther

No Super Strength uber team:

Dr. Strange
Iceman
Prof. X
Jean Gray
Human Torch
Invisible Woman
Scarlet Witch

I am not including Iron Man because to say he does not have super strength is a technicality that I do not think it was in the intentions of the author is this thread to leave.

Captain America
Black Panther
Nightcrawler
Storm
Gravity
Phoenix
Crystal

Now that's a mega powerful team and not one muscle head in the bunch :)

1. Storm (team leader)
2. Forge (inventor / team leader's love interest)
3. Wolverine (tank)
4. Shadowcat & Lockheed (stealth)
5. Rachel Summers (mental stuff)
6. Nightcrawler (bamf)
7. Illyana Rasputin - Magik (since her BB has super strength and is not allowed)

Daredevil (physical combatant, heart of team)
Mr Fantastic (Strategic leader)
X-man (young hotshot, looks up to forge for guidance)
Quicksilver (speedster)
Iceman (Omega level potential, also used for vast transportation, companian with nate grey)
Forge (Inventor extraordinaire and mentor role)
emma frost. (female and also can be used to manipulate the powers of friends and foes)

pretty decent lineup if you ask me...

why have the torch and iceman on the same team?

same goes for prof and jean as well as scarlet and dr strange

you have multiple peeps able to perform similar tasks.

you also don't have anyone with an outstanding physical fight record.

that is unless of course your team is only assembled for the big ass threats

Yes! You have him too... :woot: But to be honest, in your team he is quite redundant, IMO, due to Reed.

Dr. Strange
Blink
Leech
Mystique
Scarlet Witch
Dead Girl
Doop

Proffesor X
Moon Knight
Black Panther
Dr. Strange
Iceman
Nightcrawler
Invisible Woman

Captain America - Leader (because every choose-your-team thing requires you pick Captain America)
Phoenix - Raw Power
X-Man - Raw Power
Dr. Strange - Magic
Reed Richards - Brains
Sue Storm - Defense, Stealth
Blink - Transport, Defense, Stealth, Infiltration

I'd replace Phoenix or X-Man with a super speedster if there were any truly decent ones in the MU - most people with a good degree of superspeed like Gladiator, Surfer, et. cetera also have strength, I don't think anyone with the Space Gem is gonna fly ("Too uber") and Quicksilver just doesn't cut it - at least not traditional QS. A couple hundred MPH is actually not that impressive, and his Isotope E state was temporary, I'm not going to pluck characters from the 5 minutes they were super-charged. QS current time-traveling state has yet to be fully explored, and plus it seems to come with a degree of mental instability from ol' Pietro - and no matter how powerful, I try not to include crazy people or villains in my line up. Whatever they add is canceled out by how much of a liability they are - thus, no Scarlet Witch, Doom, Hank Pym, Genis-Vell, Tony Stark (IMO, he DOES fit the criteria for having superstrength) et. cetera

*Looking at some names in the previous posts.*

It occurred to me that Invisible Woman and Leech would make one heck of a team. IW could just smuggle Leech undetected within the touching range and *poof* -- one depowered enemy. :word: Repeat if more enemies are present.

That's true. I never though of that myself, but that only works if the enemy is a mutant.

I don't think Iron Man should be allowed just because it's suit that gives him strength, that would be like saying that Venom is allowed because it's HIS suit that gives him strength. Just my opinion, I'm not the OP so I can't make any decisions here. :venom:
