Which Bond movie had the best pre-title opener?

I always loved the Thunderball opening right up until the jetpack, I always loved the way when jacque bouvar walks into the room Connery is sat by the fire place with the chair turned. I first watched that opening when I was around 4 and still to this day I never tire of it.

I dunno.....I have to go with GOLDENEYE and DIE ANOTHER DAY. I just thought they were ****ing cool.

I was surprised at how good TWINE's was.......atleast, the music that is....didn't expect that type of tune out of Garbage. But, the music was nice.

That being said.....CASINO ROYALE's title sequence could kicked major ass. I love the title song "You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell.......and I've seen some of the graphics, reminds me alot of the cover of the Ian Flemming novel.....with the red and the decks of cards. It could be one of the good ones.

Well, adding to my favorites of FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, GOLDFINGER, and YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE is CASINO ROYALE. An intense, dark, and awesome pre-title sequence that perfectly establishes Craig as 007.

I just rewatched the PTS from Octopussy. They don't come any bigger or badder than Bond infiltrating a military base, getting captured, escaping in the Acrostar, having a missile locked on him, flying through the enemy base and escaping through the doors before they close and then watching that same missile blow up the bad guys!

Moonraker has a hell of an opening. It's perfect Bond encapsulated into a few minutes; you have Moore at his most sauve, a decent double entendre ("Any higher Mr Bond, and my ears will pop!"), a babe turning out to be a baddie and pulling a gun on Bond, a fist fight, an incredible stunt and a ludicrous but audacious escape for 007.

It would be perfect if Jaws were not included.

Let's not forget stopping off at a gas station for gas...LOL!

I wouldn't mind if all the PTS from now on were in black and white. It was a nice touch in Casino Royale.
