Which characters should be included?

I don't want to see too many X-Men helping out in the Wolverine film. I'm looking for blood and a 15 rating.

My personal choices for villains would be Omega Red, a savage and highly intelligent Sabretooth (not the dumb X1 guy) and an improved version of Deathstryke.

I take back my no X-Men comment. A faithful interpretation of Psylocke (Asian) could fit in with "The Hand" storylines quite easily without her needing to be a major character.

Kelly Hu could play both Deathstrike and Psylocke

I so want to see Lady Deathstrike. Sure, she's nothing like in the comics and the only thing they share is the name, but god damn that woman can kick ass! She's one of my favourite characters in the movies (alongside Jean and Mystique). And it would be quite fitting to include her because she shares a past with Wolverine in the Weapon X program.

I guess Sabretooth is a must, as well. So is Stryker and his posse. Others? I don't know. Since it's a prequel about Logan's origins, not many of the currently known X-Men are needed in the movie. And since I'm not that well educated in Logan's history, I have no idea who those characters could be.

I think both those characters have to be in. Sabretooth is Wolverine's arch nemesis and Deathstrike should have strong relevance to the plot. Other Weapon X villains could be included but I don't think there should be too many.

They'll probably want to give Wolverine some sort of love interest so Mariko is a possibility. I think they could include these characters if they used a dual plot of Weapon X and The Hand.

I forgot all about X-23. How could I?

I don't know if including her would be a good idea in the first standalone Wolverine film. If there were ever a sequel, I'd love to see her introduced.

The first one should be kept simple, with his background and Sabretooth is the logical villain. My preference would be to get a new actor for Sabretooth and my vote goes to WWE's Triple HHH. He's already proven he could play a bad ass and he totally looks the part.

The two characters that definitely should be in are Sabretooth and Yuriko aka Deathstrike. Try to establish the rivalry between Logan and Creed and if possible let Creed go through some sort of torture and brainwashing near the end of the movie so we have some sort of explanation why he didn't care too much for Logan in X1.

And I really want to see the relationship between Logan and Yuriko. What would be great to see is that the Military finds out that Yuriko has similarity healing abilities like Logan, and after he ran away they come to take her in and put her through the Weapon X program against her will.

If possible I'd like the same actors from the X-Men Movies to return. I really liked Tyler Mane as Sabertooth, despite the fact that they reduced him to a henchman in X1. He looked great, really menancing and had a great voice. If he'd just have more to do I bet he'd be a amazing Sabretooth. And Kelly Hu is simply great.

People keep saying "have sabretooth, deathstryke and omega red". Do you want this to be batman and robin from day one.

Firstly deathstryke was not a part of the weapon-x bit in the movies when wolverine was. My evidence. The fact that stryker says to wolverine that he though he was one of a kind. If deathstryke had been a weapon-xer when wolvie was then he would have never thought wolverine was one of a kind because from the first moment he had known of logan he would have known of deathstryke.

Secondly just the one bad guy please. Just sabretooth. Create the angry antagonist relationship beteween the two and have many cool fights between the two. Have it like the hunted with logan chasing creed across the country through cities, forests and snow swept mountains.
