Daredevil season 3 and Iron Fist season 2 both wrapped around the same time, despite Daredevil having about a month's headstart.
This makes me wonder, which show is going to come out first? I'm having a hard time determining whether Iron Fist will complete post-production first and land in the fall slot while Daredevil will hit during the holidays, or vice-versa.
Currently, I see two arguments, both of which are credible:
Daredevil comes first: The argument for Daredevil season 3 coming out first is that it's been more than two years since Season 2 came out (two years and two months as of this posting). Meanwhile, Iron Fist season 1 and The Defenders gave us plenty of Danny for last year's crop, and Danny is appearing in Luke Cage season 2. Since Daredevil is the flagship of the MCU Netflix verse, Marvel probably doesn't want Daredevil fans to have been forced to wait almost three years between individual seasons. Considering how fans of Jessica Jones had to wait 28 months between the release of its first and second seasons...
Iron Fist comes first: The argument I've seen for this is that doing so would allow Netflix to get every show's second season out before starting the season 3 round. I've also seen an argument that it would provide a direct segue from Luke Cage to Iron Fist with Danny appearing in both, and from Daredevil to The Punisher.
So what are your thoughts?
