Which CSI series is better?

Out of all of them, CSI, CSI: Miami, and CSI: New York. Which one do you think is the best? I have to admit, when CSI first came one it was one of my favorite shows. But then Miami and New York started and both are just as great. But my favorite I would have to say is CSI: Miami. The cast the stories is just to good and Hurazio Caine is a full on badass.

Which one do you like?

I can't stand Horatio, myself. He just seems too cool to be a CSI. If he were maybe a badass detective that would be okay, but as Miami's equivalent to Gil Grissom I just don't buy it.

As for the cast, all I really see is the producers trying to reproduce the cast of the original show. You've got the bad-ass tough chick right under the head honcho, another tough-chick, a too-cool-for-school minority figure (in the original it's a black guy, here it's a Latino), and some others.

I've never seen CSI: New York and to be quite honest Miami put me off of ever watching it. The original is the only one for me.

Well said, CSI: Miami is my favorite while the original follows second. CSI: New York is ok in some ways, but i'm not to fond of Gary Sinise as a CSI.

The original is the best, they seem like actual scientists working to solve cases with science. Mostly because the main guy, Gill, always aproaches things in terms of science and says he is a scientist not a cop. and they show them in the lab all the time.

On the other hand CSI Miami seems too out there, they are scientists not cops. But they have the main guy Horatio ordering a team of cops and helacoptors like he is running the investigation, like he is in charge of the whole police force.

the New York one, I don't know, just seems to be about gangs or sex and they act like cops. I mean the all act like cops, carrying around guns and questioning suspects, but the original CSI seems more like CSI agents than the others.

Yeah, like last weeks episode of CSI: New York was about some couple bungee jumping a brigde and having what was called "bungee sex" or whatever. Though this weeks episode seems different.

I think that mainly gets across the thing that bugs me about Miami. Horatio looks like a cop, talks like a cop, acts like a cop, but...he's a scientist.

Meanwhile in Vegas, Gil Grissom is a big fat nerd - somebody you could see sitting in a crimbe lab all day.

That, plus my gripe with the similarities in the casting, are pretty much what grates my cheese about CSI: Miami.

i dont watch them... but when there is defenetly nothing on i watch the original.. the other ones seriously i prefer to turn the tv off, thing i dont usually do when i already turn it on... why the original and not the spin-offs well because of the sexual tension between the elder dude and the brunette.

I have to admit, the original CSI had a better season premiere than all the others. It's a two parter and the conclusion is tomorrow.

Grissom is a ****ing pimp, and that SOB is half deaf, thats hardcore. He makes the show worth watching, I couldnt stand the NY with Lt. Dan because they're way too many NY shows, Law and Order and NYPD Blue and all of the others.

The original is still my favorite. I like Miami too. But I don't really like New York. Something about Gary Sinise rubs me the wrong way.

Someone needs to get some vids up somewhere of those Caine-isms (ya know....his dialouge right before the title credits roll).

CSI, though is ****ing cool. NEW YORK is.....well......kinda depressing sometimes.

Now, I vote for a fictional city next time. Like, CSI: GOTHAM CITY. or CSI: METROPOLIS. or CSI: ATLANTIS.....or.......well, you get the point...

Agreed. There's something about Sinise so i don't really watch. Though, Claire Forlani joined the cast and she's hot.

I think it's Senise's hairline.....it's very creepy.

For that matter, he looks like a bad guy. It's just weird, I thinl. Grissom and Caine......they look like good guys, and give off the good guy vibes. Maybe it's just the actors, I dunno.

Yeah, what i think about Sinise can't be explained. But all i know is i don't really like him as a CSI. For me though, it's Caine first and Grissom second. The one liners by Caine before the song begins is to badass.
