Apart from which Transformer did you guys like, which human character did you guys like?

For me it'd have to be Sam Witwicky, Mikaela Banes and Sergeant Lennox. I thought those three characters were great. Shia gave a great performance and just showed his intensity as an actor. Megan was hot, and while I liked her, I thoght she should of had more lines in the movie. Lennox was good, he was kind of like the guy who watched out for everyone in battle. Duhamel did a good job with his role.

So which one was your favorite?

Obviously Sam, man.

I am Sam- in a way.

I'm that guy in the middle. I'm not a jock, I'm not a nerd... I'm that middle guy.

Personality is also very similar, having come from a more suburban upbringing.

And the parents remind me of my parents EXACTLY. From the lawn thing, and a very similar father and son relationship; to the uncomfortable Mom comments, and the Mom's crazyness with the family dog. Lol.

Sam. Shia almost carried that movie. He even upstaged Optimus Prime at the end.

Also, Bernie Mac should be a choice. I think Bernie Mac should have narrated the entire movie like Mako narrated Conan The Barbarian. It would have made it a lot easier to digest a lot of the stuff in the movie.

1. Mikaela

2. Sam

3. Defense Secretary John Keller

4. Maggie Madsen

5. Sergeant Lennox

6. USAF Tech Sergeant Epps

definitely Sam. He's part of transformers to me now.

Sam for the performance, Shia is gonna be a star, first good supporting roles in I' Robot and Constantine, now starring roles in Disturbia and Transformers, next Indy 4.

Mikaela for the looks. Damn

Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) he was the only one worth watching of the humans, Shia really did an outstanding job

Sam (amazing job) followed by Epps and Mikaela.
One flaw of this film was character development, though.

While I see people complaining about character development, I think the film was for the most part about Sam... and he was fleshed out pretty well. Not spectacularly, but well.

I was hoping they'd leave off trying to tell everyone's life story for future films.

This would have been a horrible borefest if we went even went to the kiddy-end side of the pool of depth for all the characters that popped up in the film.

This was Sam's story. Next, I'd like to see more flesh added to Prime, BB, SS and Megs. Really, those are the only guys that "matter." The rest can remain on the periphery to one degree or another.

This isn't like a season of cartoons where we have 26 episodes to lay out who everyone is.

Back OT: Sam/Shia. Undeniable. The main human cast, and a home run performance by Shia. He just did exactly what Tobey did for Peter Parker.

I thought Sam did a very good job in the movie. Mikaela too.

Sam Witwicky, of course. Shia did a wonderful job.

Josh and Tyrese really surprised me in their roles as "GI Joes".

I expected the typical hardass military routine, but they were very convincing characters.

I didn't really like any of the human characters, so Mikaela for eye candy.

The boom operator. Can you imagine how hard he had to work to keep the microphone out of the frame of Bay's never-still shaky-ass camera?

That guy deserves a medal.

HAHAHA

wow! Shia rules. He's really part of TF movie to me now.

Congratulations Man!

:woot: :woot:

Glasses Guy. AKA Skorponok's Shiskabob (no clue how to spell it, sue me)

RIP

Sam Witwicky. I was close to picking Jorge "Fig" Figueroa just because he shares my nickname but his character didn't do much.

I also thought the soliders were excellent as well.

I really think Shia is a great actor. I used to watch him in that show Even Stevens and it's so cool that he's getting famous now.

Yeah, I thought both were cool characters apart from the rest. They did a good job with their roles.

I honestly don't know what it is, but I've hated Shia with a undying passion ever since I saw Constantine and I, Robot. However, in this movie he was my favorite character. I've decided to forgive and forget and start anew with him after this movie. :o
