X-Men 3 was terrible. They sacrificed good story and plot for over the top action. While I did enjoy the action and I did think the franchise needed this kind of action, they did a piss poor job of the story and character development. Seriously... there was no character develpment. For example, Colossus. The guy had NOTHING to say. I actually can't remember a single line from his mouth. Jean, Jean does alot of standing around saying nothing. How did Wolverine find Magneto's camp when no one else knew where it was? The movie had poor flow. It just sort of jumped from one plot point to the next. The humor in the movie fell completely flat, alot of lines were cringe worthy. Very poor script. "I'm the Juggernaught *****!", I can't believe they threw in that stupid Internet joke.

Very disappointing, because I liked the first two so much.

Fantastic Four also had a very poor story and very poor character development. One of the weakest things was what a poor job they did of Dr. Doom, one of my all time favourite villains. At least in X-Men 3, Magneto still retains his coolness. The action in FF... what action?? So X-Men 3 beats FF on that front.

Daredevil... hmmm, not so sure there.

Discuss!

I really don't like any of these three, but X3 and Daredevil each have at least one redeeming quality. Fantastic Four is one of the worst films I have ever seen.

I accidentally voted X3, I meant to vote for Fantastic Four.

I agree, I did'nt enjoy X3 either But I'll rank them like this. best to worst.

X3
Daredevil
Fantastic Four

Another thing about X-Men 3.

BIG SPOILERS!!!

Rogue. She decided to take the cure?? That's a great message to send to kids, isn't it?? The X-Men is supposed to teach understanding and tolerance. It isn't about saying "yeah, it's fine to be a mutant, but like, maybe ya should become normal!". It's sending out the wrong message. The cure is sort of a metaphor for "if you were black, and you could become white, would you do it?". The answer should be... "yeah, sometimes it's hard being black, but I shouldn't have to become white. I'm proud of who I am."

Maybe Logan found the camp through Mag's scent? Who knows, while I think X3 needed work in some areas, it's far better then FF.

He could have followed Magneto's scent... but from where? The film didn't explain it. It's a plothole.

X-Men 3 and Daredevil may have been bad, but Fantastic Four was a CRIME.
Movie cameras should get a restraining order against Tim Story.

best to worst imo:

Daredevil
X3
Fantastic Four

Of the three films, FF really didn't live up to my personal expectations. Daredevil is actually a very good film, IMO and highly unrated. This becomes even more noticeable if one watches the Director's Cut. X3 made 44 million in one day. That's not a flop.

This thread is just your opinion. It is not mired in fact, but rather your own subjective view. It's important that you phrase your question and poll with dignified grace and delicacy. You might better have said the following:

Of the three films, which film didn't you feel live up to your expectations?

That sounds a whole lot better than what you said. Keep that in mind with future polls. How you phrase things will let people know how educated and proper you can be.

No, that was me accidentally voting X3 when I meant to vote FF.

i gotta go with DD. would've been a good film if they hadnt dropped the ball halfway.

X3 was awesome. FF sucked. DD was so-so

:rolleyes:As usual, you are the king of redundancy. A.L.L. "which is worse" threads are dealing in opinions, especially with regards to art. It goes without saying. Otherwise he would've made a thread that said "Jesus created the universe and he told me for a fact that Fantastic Four is empirically, indisputably the worst out of the three, so there's no need for a poll, because it's a cosmic truth."

:rolleyes:No. It's not important in any way.
***NEWSFLASH***, goldenrod...this is the internet. Furthermore, it's a bunch of fanboys talking. Dignity, grace and...pfff..."delicacy" have nothing to do with fanboys on the internet, and N.O.T.H.I.N.G. that's said here is "important".

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
First off, what if someone's expectations were that the films would suck? I was 98% certain that F4 and X-Men 3 would suck. In that case, you'd have me, without clarification, voting that Fantastic Four and X-Men 3 TOtally lived up to my expectations.
This isn't about "expectations", it's about OPINIONS regarding the quality of the films. Which one was worse out of the three, and then you give your opinion. I can't believe I'd have to explain that.

Next, of course you can get an indication as to how educated a person is by judging their phrasing, but that doesn't apply here.
A post-graduate from Yale or Harvard or a professor of film can easily say "Oh my GAWD! The Matrix sequels were TERRIBLE! They flat-out SUCKED."
I happen to know a Yale graduate and a professor. They are both very educated and will gladly tell you when a movie "sucks".

Furthermore, he didn't even just do the mindless, "Dude, X-Men 3 sucked." and nothing more. He gave quite a few reasons for his dissatisfaction, valid reasons.

But my main point is:This isn't a dissertation or a thesis. It's movie fans, many of whom are "internet-pals", talking about movies.

Yet to see X3, but I'd have to say FF sucks the most. My expectations of X3 are lowered for the third instalment but I know it can't be any worse than FF.

Ditto.

fantastic four is the worst
x-men three follows closely
then director's cut daredevil is way way way better

ff is like on par with blade trinity, nothing is going to suck that bad

It is tragic that the "powers that be" don't see polls like this and realize that every ****** involved in the production of F4 should've been fired(all actors not included), 'course it made a lot of money. That's the really important thing.

Oh:eek:, but wait...maybe if it had been GOOD, it would've made as much as Spider-Man or a Lord of the Rings movie!!!

:rolleyes:bastards.

to be honest, the sad thing is that the greatest marvel family actually rode off the sucess of the incredibles...it wouldn't have even done that well if they had been released in a different chronological order...

quite quite sad.

i'm quite surprised how hulk, blade trinity and elektra aren't all up on that poll as well.

even though i love the hulk, it's usually pictured as one fo the worst by quite a few.

still it would have lost to ff by a similar margin

For me the saddest thing is that I've always dreamed of seeing this guy come to life:

thing-3.gif

or this guy:

T-7.gif

But instead I got this guy:

thing-6.jpg

meh, the doom we got was sadder than any rendition of the THING, not to mention the reed 'dumas' richards.

ben grimm comes in third on the 'unwanted xmas present' list.

My TOP3 is:
1. Fantastic Four (4 out of 10)
2. Daredevil (4 out of 10)
3. X3 (6 out of 10)

It was pretty obvious how he found Magneto's camp. Jean Grey/Phoenix was in Wolverine's head calling to him and flashing images in his head. I think she pretty much guided him there.

That´s unfair to Daredevil, the director´s cut is a pretty good movie... God, even Fantastic Four has some stuff that would´ve improved it and ended up in the cutting room... Fox is Satan´s workshop.

On that particular point, the first X-Men had some significant plot holes too... How come Xavier telepathy didn´t detect Mystique in the school? Why didn´t Xavier use Sabertooth to remove Magneto´s helmet and control him or, assuming he didn´t know it was the helmet, to punch him hard enough to knock him out?
