I loved Lois not being able to spell. It's kind of tedious now with spell check all over the place.
Margot too butch
Kate Bosworth, really? She was Lois Lane with a lobotomy
Erica Durancs had a little too much butch as well and occasionally came off as rather dumb. The writers of Smallville didn't appreciate the character and treated her as an after thought, comic relief, or TnA for most of the series.
Teri Hatcher a perfect blend of comedy, seriousness, damsel in distress, kick butt take no prisoners Lois Lane. Nothing masculine about her, proves that it's possible to play a tough female without losing your femininity.
Amy Adams, I liked the way Lois was written and that those in charge had repast for the character. This comes across when they refused to have her in the dark about Clark/Superman. I also liked that after all her work finding him when she finally talks to him she decides to drop revealing him to the world because he asks her not to. Usually the media is portrayed as doing whatever they want to whoever they want and screw who it hurts.
Another thing Lois is equal parts needing to he saved and also helping to save others. Despite the fact that I don't like Amy in the role, MOS probably had the best Lois Lane since the 90's.
