I'm sure it's probably a bit unpopular but I think Teri Hatcher will always be Lois Lane to me. I grew up in the '90s, you know?

Amy nailed it. Feisty and hardworking yet not without her tender moments.

Teri Hatcher had 24 episods per season and was very good. give me a whole movie with Lois Lane and Clark at the DP.

Lois being such a known repórter, yet not knowing how to spell was kinda dumb, either way my vote foes to Erica Durance. On a side note you should create a poll

Wow, i actually forgot to add kate bosworth til now lol

I agree that hatcher was great as lois. Both her and cain have been pretty underrated in their roles on Lois and Clark.

Amy adams now. Margot Kidder before her though.

I wonder if Kate Bosworth will even get one vote???

not suprised. i also dont remember Kate. for the love of god what was WB and Spacey thinking?

I loved Lois not being able to spell. It's kind of tedious now with spell check all over the place.

Margot too butch

Kate Bosworth, really? She was Lois Lane with a lobotomy

Erica Durancs had a little too much butch as well and occasionally came off as rather dumb. The writers of Smallville didn't appreciate the character and treated her as an after thought, comic relief, or TnA for most of the series.

Teri Hatcher a perfect blend of comedy, seriousness, damsel in distress, kick butt take no prisoners Lois Lane. Nothing masculine about her, proves that it's possible to play a tough female without losing your femininity.

Amy Adams, I liked the way Lois was written and that those in charge had repast for the character. This comes across when they refused to have her in the dark about Clark/Superman. I also liked that after all her work finding him when she finally talks to him she decides to drop revealing him to the world because he asks her not to. Usually the media is portrayed as doing whatever they want to whoever they want and screw who it hurts.
Another thing Lois is equal parts needing to he saved and also helping to save others. Despite the fact that I don't like Amy in the role, MOS probably had the best Lois Lane since the 90's.

Margot!

But Amy can easily surpass her with more time and characterization, already in a sequel.

you know what? there comes a time when even an actor or actress need to say NO. i understand that this was a possible franchise and money maker for Kate. but NO. a lot of actors who were asked to play superman said NO in the last 10 years.

Will Smith had to say no. :woot:

Teri Hatcher will always be my Lois Lane, especially in the last two season of L & C when she had the short hair. First celebrity crush for me.

Teri did do a great job on that show, it was more about Lois than Superman.

What actors said no to Superman. I don't blame Kate for taking the role, to me a job is a job. I blame Bryan and Kevin for her being cast in a role she didn't fit and could never do well. I honestly don't know what they were thinking not only casting Kate (who looked 16) and putting her in a bad wig but also writing Lois in such an abysmal way.

Erica's Lois made me fall in love with the character. Amy's comes in second but that may change with sequels to come. Erica is a tough act to follow for me though. I also enjoyed Terri's Lois so she'd be a very strong third for me.

Amy Adams and Erica Durance most definitely

Kidder is one ugly b****
