they could do that easily enough remember in x-men united nightcrawler[ while under strykers control ]tried to assasinate the president perhaps he agreed to return to germany in exchange for the charges bring dropped or is in jail awating triial like the beast was in x-men tas

Well not really... Take what we know of the story of X3 from all the info we've gotten... where would Nightcrawler play a significant role? What would his purpose in the movie be?

In evolution, the only people who have been able to stop Wanda are those with mind powers. Mastermind and Xavier were the only two able to calm her, Mastermind completely rewriting her memories if I remember.

Everyone else she has went up against has come off worse. She's took on the X-Men. The Brotherhood. Magneto. She always comes out on top. That version of Wanda might be a little too powerful for the movies unless they were going to make her a lead villian.

...i never thought of that. they could have mags die in X3, then have her takign over her dads work. she could be even stronger than her father

I would have liked to have seen Gambit (naturally), Emma Frost, Nightcrawler et al. But I think we did good with what we have (Beast is a favorite of mine so I'm glad he finally made it).

I also wanted to see the Hellfire Club (or at least Jason Wyngarde, Sebastian Shaw & Emma Frost) but it's likely that will never come to fruition. Oh well.

I think it's a little late now to complain about who should and shouldn't have been in the movie, but anyway... Gambit (obviously) and Nightcrawler (he should have been a X-Man).

I think so too. I have feeling his part is going to be even less than X2 unless the movie is three hours and a half long. I think not addressing nightcrawlers absent is just laziness on the writers part. It can't take up that much time so it wouldn't hurt the pace of the movie.

Gambit could have been tied in especially since Kitty Pride woos away Iceman from Rogue. You see, Gambit should be there to help piece Rogue back together. It's obvious that the kids in the film like the ones i mentioned are conflicted on which side to choose so there should be some characters there for direction. Unfortunately, it'll be logan and storm instead of Gambit.
Truthfully i could care less about the stupid love side stories but Gambit is truly Rogue's guy. I miss Remi.

Maybe in X4 they can get a straight guy to play Nightcrawler. Just Kidding. I would also like to see Havok and Rogue become the Rogue we like not the dumb unconfident girl in the movies. The whole Ms. Marvel thing should have happened by now.

emma and remy are just too many characters to add to the mix

i voted to bring back toad, he doesnt require any background, and id like to see him again

none on the poll list, but maybe Bishop, Forge, Polaris, Vindicator, or Fabian Cortez. I tend to like the older characters, but these would seem to translate to the movie universe well, and would provide some diversity in age, race, and power.
