Assuming there’s more than one season I would love to see them do the nanny. Imagine Wanda as Fran and Viz as Mr Sheffield with Agnes as C.C. I would laugh my head off.

what about you?

Hmm, you know, I would be curious to see a later episode homage one of the 70s race-conscious sitcoms.
the cast includes several black characters already, even in the 50s homage episodes. Invoking the later race-conscious shows could be used either by the heroic cast to help break the spell and bring greater awareness of how they are trapped, by the Big Bad to inflict a more menacing reality against meddlers and rebels, or both.

Frasier
Friends
Cheers
Taxi
ALF
Head of the Class
Too Close For Comfort

Maybe I Dream of Jeannie. Get Liz Olsen in a genie outfit.

This premise is already stretching thin after 2 episodes. I sincerely hope they are not doing multiple seasons of it.

At this point it should be clear that it is a mini series. Even if a 2nd season will coming it will not handle sitcoms because it is just a methodical too to portray..... we will find out ;)

Completely disagree. I'm loving every second of it. It's the most unique live-action superhero project I've ever seen. I would've gotten tired of the black and white if it lasted the whole season, but smartly, the show progresses through the decades with each episode and we've already moved on to color.

I dont want to make Olsen to an object but black/white Olsen in 50s style is the most beautiful thing I've seen in.. years. So I woudnt mind to have at least one more b/w episode.

I’m pretty sure any sitcom they emulate will be one that fits the married couple and family dynamics that apply to Wanda and Vision. And I don’t think their characters’ personalities will fundamentally shift just to fit a new sitcom.. They’ll be period appropriate, but not out of character.

So I don’t expect Married with Children (or anything else that doesn’t fit with their situation or personalities) episodes. But Brady Bunch, Family Ties, Full House, Modern Family, etc.. seem appropriate.

Full House, especially if they use the twins as some kind of meta nod to her sisters, would be hilarious.

Not sure if they could/would actually manage the conceit of a group of adults living in the house with lots of kids but maybe some kind of nod.

I suppose I shouldn't be at this point but I was surprised how much I enjoyed the sitcom set up. I thought I'd be begging for the "normal" MCU stuff but I'm not. I'm enjoying it as it is.

I've seen speculation that there will at least be another black and white segment later in the series because
there's a pretty convincing theory that Wanda will get kicked out of her fake reality at some point or leave unwillingly and then try to go back in, in an attempt to restart the whole series from the beginning: explaining the b/w scene in the trailer (that wasn't in the first two episodes) where Vision says "Welcome home, Wanda" and appears to already be waiting for her in their house.

There should be a reboot of Bewitched as a TV series with Elizabeth Olsen playing Samantha. It would be better than that horrible film version with Nicole Kidman a few years back.

Small Wonder (if they don’t tackle this already in S1)
Happy Days
Cheers
ALF
Always Sunny

Also, since people have mentioned Married with Children... in the 90s, Marvel had a parody comic called “What The?” and one issue had a parody called “Married with Superpowers” that had Wanda and Vision as Peggy and Al. It was hilarious. I don’t remember much about it though other than Vision (referred to as Al Bino) trying to figure out how he, an android, had fathered children lol.

Just going by the trailers we know that future episodes will be modeled after THE BRADY BUNCH, FAMILY TIES and ROSANNE...so they do seem to be keeping with married couples type sit coms vs shows like SEINFELD, FRIENDS, etc. - looking forward to seeing how this all plays out...

Cheers would've been a great one.

hmm Wanda as Diane or Rebecca and Vis as Sam (though he's probably more like Woody) wonder who would be Norm. Or do you just get George Wendt to cameo?

It looks like Malcolm In The Middle is one of the ones they are referencing... which is amazing! Especially since it’s a house filled with men.

Ha, really? Well that makes sense. Actually I reckon Jane Kaczmarek would be perfect for the mcu.

hey you know what would be a brilliant idea. Doing Frasier with Viz as Frazier and an Ultron drone as Niles. They could even have Ultron as the disapproving dad who’s annoyed at how assimilationist his son has become

I had a theory that one of the last sitcom types they will do would be The Office as a mockumentary. The idea is that the closer they get to modern times the more self aware the residents get to the point where they talk directly into the camera(to communicate with SWORD) and the universe compensates by making it apart of the program style.

The Munsters
ALF
Friends
Two and a Half Men
Maybe a Nick show for a segment with the boys.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch

It would be interesting if Marvel Studios did their version of one of the shows from Disney Channel

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

oh Sabrina would be fun, with wanda and Agnes as aunt hilda and aunt zelda. And Hulkling as Harvey

After episode 5 being the 80s (very special episodes were quite big back then) I think the 90's episode will focus more on teenage rebellion (which was big in the 90s) and,
Uncle Pietro

Think Full House/Step-by-step with Uncle Jessie and Cody.
