World Which Spider-Man storylines should be adapted into D2DVD film?

DC has 30 animated D2DVD films. Marvel has eight. While Marvel might be doing well at the Box Office, they haven't done much in terms of animated films.

The Marvel films are popular, and the people who watch them are more likely to watch animated films based off Marvel Properties. I think it would do Disney good to make films based off Spider-Man because he hasn't had a D2D movie yet , and Disney is royally screwing him over with the Ultimate Spider-Crap BS. Yeah, they're screwing over Avengers and Hulk as well, but Spidey's getting the worst of it. Plus he's the most famous and popular Marvel character (although the MCU might make Iron man that in a few years)

Anyhow, instead of making original films, they could just make animated adaptations of Comic stories, like Batman: Year One did. This will allow people who are too cheap and lazy to buy and read the comics (like me) to understand these stories better.

Even if Marvel wants to continue its piece of crap USM TV series, it would be nice to get a Spider-Man DTV animated film here and there that isn't connected to it.

I'd like to see Last Hunt and Death of Jean, but these stories skew "adult", I don't see Marvel corporate allowing these to be produced, since they touch on issues of murder, suicide and mental illness. Also, if only for the sake of keeping their jobs, I don't see Marvel's in-house producers trying to push the envelope on that front.

J.M. Dematteis adapting KLH into an animated film would make me overjoyed. A few years ago didn't have the Spider-man animation rights, so if it was back then it's understanble. If it was recently, it's a damn shame. Marvel doesn't seem to care about the DTD market all that much anymore only releasing the stuff by Madhouse and stuff aimed at kids.

Same. Now that they have the animation rights to Spider-Man, they should at least take advantage of it and make some good D2V animated movies. Wouldn't it be awesome to have both theatrical and animated DVD Spider-Man movies?
