If one villain from spider mans rogue gallery teamed up with one rogue from batmans what two do you think could do the most damge. Like emotionally for the heroes, or which two would wreak havoc on the citizens of gotham and nyc, or do the most damage to the actual cities themselves, structurally.

Well Joker and Goblin are similar, and they'd be GREAT at destroying the morale of the people. Plus, y'know, blowing **** up and all that. But there are all kinds of pairs that sort of mirror each other that could do a TON of damage. Poison Ivy and Hydro Man, for instance would work well together. We've seen what Ivy can do under certain circumstances (Batman: AA? xD) and I know Hydro Man can be pretty nasty when he wants to be.

My vote would be for Joker and Goblin, though. They're kind of similar and I think that they both do the best job of ****ing with their respective heroes on an individual basis, so I can only imagine what would happen if they teamed up!

Scarecrow would mess Spiderman up real good with one of his fear capsules.

Kingpin would invent something to take on Batman.

Scarecrow would be great, but I can't stand the Kingpin. D: Plus he usually just hires other villains to mess with Spidey/Daredevil. Maybe Scarecrow and Carnage? Bats has never gone up toe to toe with a symbiote and Carnage is the worst of them.

Uh...Batman fought Carnage in the Batman/Spider-Man Crossover.

Yeah, I was actually reminded of that a few minutes after I posted that. *shrug* I still think a Carnage/Scarecrow team up would be great! :D

In no order:

Bane and Venom.

Joker and Green Goblin.

Hugo Strange and Doc Ock(their intelligence).

Black Mask and Carnage.

Scarecrow and Mysterio.

Man-Bat and Man-Wolf.

Firefly and Molten Man.

Clayface and Sandman.

Mr. Freeze and Hydro-Man.

interesting would you like to explain a bit more of these in detail? I just find some of them interesting.

Bane and Venom are brute forces and they could lay waste many, many, many, many men. I would even say Rhino, but Venom is far more superior.

Joker and Green Goblin just deserve to work with each other because they're both in the top of the food chain when it comes to their respected rogue gallery. No other villain on each side can top them.

Hugo Strange and Doc Ock mostly because, as I stated, of their intelligence levels. They don't really match in terms of fighting, but they're both extremely intelligent beings and they could really pull the strings. Now, they're pretty close number two to Joker and GG respectively, but they're still not the main-main villains, but they are both pretty freaking phenomenal.

Black Mask and Carnage works, for me, because BM can be very psychotic himself, so him pairing with Carnage could bring chaos all around. And the way Joker was shown in The Dark Knight is something I would have always showed Black Mask in a film, because I just think he could be this freakishly insane dude. And we all know Carnage is insane, let alone Cletus Kasady.

Scarecrow and Mysterio both literally ****s up Batman's and Spider-Man's minds. So...'nuff said on that, lol. I think Mysterio would be more helpful with Scarecrow than Carnage any day, imo.

Man-Bat and Man-Wolf are pretty much self-explanatory, lol. Literally a bat and a wolf...heck, I wouldn't mind bringing in Lizard with those two as well.

The next three(Firefly and Molten Man, Clayface and Sandman, Mr. Freeze and Hydro-Man) are just elemental ideas with their pairings. Reminds me of the Freeze and Firefly hook up on The Batman, so different elemental pairings of villains would be pretty awesome.

Actually I think scarecrow and mysterio would be an amazing pair! Like you said, they both have perfected ****ing with their respective hero's mind and ****ing it up GOOD, nonetheless. Together they'd be a tough match. Only problem is neither of them are really the greatest fighters, without their tricks. Not that that ever stops them, really. :D

i'm gonna go in the reptile direction and say the lizard and killer croc. they're both totally blood-thirsty and would force any real battle to be in the sewers or a swamp. since all the people who live in gotham and nyc are slow-witted mammal dullards, kc and the lizard would run roughshod over everyone. both villains seem to bring out some primal fears in spidey and batman, as well.

In no order:

Bane and Venom. Wouldn't work together. They have different motives and I bet Venom's name would conjure up unpleasant memories in Bane. Ends in a fight between the two.

Joker and Green Goblin. Wouldn't work together. Wind up consuming Gotham and/or NYC in their personal war.

Hugo Strange and Doc Ock(their intelligence). Would work together, but it would end in a series of double and triple crosses.

Black Mask and Carnage. No way in hell does this work even remotely. FAR too different to be anything but at odds with each other. Story would wind up being about stopping Carnage after he ran roughshod over Black Mask's guys.

Scarecrow and Mysterio. Man-Bat and Man-Wolf. Firefly and Molten Man. Clayface and Sandman. Would work together, but are far too small time to be considered anywhere near "ultimate" destruction.

Mr. Freeze and Hydro-Man. I doubt Morrie will want to be frozen.

Personally, I don't think there's a team-up between the two Rogue's Galleries that would last long enough to achieve a high level of mayhem by working together.

Don't get me wrong, there are some good stories there, but no good team-ups.

Your reasons are way too narrow-minded my friend.

Those are just my ideas. Sure, a lot of those villains can't work together, but then again...no villain from DC can work with a villain from Marvel and vice-versa. This is just a fun thread to see what fans would put together.

And two more things:

1.) Did Bane stop taking Venom or something? I'm not much of a comic book reader, so I wouldn't know; those two are paired together simply because of their strengths. And even though Bane has more pride than Venom, I just think their forces combine can equal "ultimate destruction".

2.) Who said Mr. Freeze will freeze Hydro-Man? Lol.

Bane hasn't taken Venom since the 90's from what I've seen.

And Freeze seems to lower the temperature around him when his ice-gun goes off, and it's not a good thing to be made of liquid water when that happens.

As for being "narrow-minded", I'm taking their personalities into consideration. Without their personalities, they're just lumps of superpowers, skills, and resources and that's boring.

The sinster six has come togther plenty of times and worked togther.

And each time, they implode rather quickly. They're also usually super-mooks under Dr. Octopus's command.

Regardless, those pairings wouldn't work for "Ultimate Destruction".

@SuperFerret: You really don't think it's possible at all? Have you SEEN some of the **** some of these villains have done on their own? Some of them have nearly destroyed their respective cities ALONE, let alone with a partner.

Actually I think a Venom/Bane match up would be nice. Bane is extremely intelligent (contrary to popular belief, thanks to Schumacher's Batman and Robin) and might hire Venom to take down Spidey... Or be hired and he hires Venom to help, or something... xD

Hmm, I don't see any reason to team up villains that mirror each other. In what way would a Mysterio + Scarecrow be devastating or clever? The fact that they have similar abilities makes it pretty useless to pair those two.

I would actually pair Joker and Mysterio, to **** up people's mind and gain power in the city. I think those two would make a pretty awesome team.

Mysterio would add alot of smart ideas to mess with people with his illusions, but Joker is the ultimate mastermind who comes up with the most devastating ways to use it, gather thugs etc. while Mysterio controls the illusions and other gadgets.

I like the idea of Joker & Mysterio

Actually a Joker x Mysterio match would be extremely interesting. They each have different strengths that could be used together to really **** things up. :D Of course Mysterio would have to find a way to get Joker to work with him. Something to do with Bats that made it irresistable for Joker to go along with it.

Catwoman and Black Cat :woot:

No, more like
Ras al Ghul and Carnage (They are both bent on causing as much human death as possible and Ras could find a way to make sure Carnage isnt stopped so easily. He's definitely the brains of the operation.)
Mysterio and Mad Hatter (Mind control and illusions? That could be fun.)
Hugo Strange and Electro (A brilliant sociopath and a man that can control electricity. In a digital, technological age, that would be a formidable match.)

That theme should've been showed more with the Doc Ock/Electro relationship in TSSM, imo.

That would have been nice but I did like the camaraderie between Ock and Vulture.
