Which Superman suit for Clark?

Lets suppose Clark wears the suit in the series finale, which suit would you prefer to see? The one used by Christopher Reeve, a new version? I prefer a new version, adapted to our days, but at the same time respecting the classic design.

I'd liek a new version not like SR didn't really like that one. If they don't have him in the suit it would be good if they put him in a makeshift superman suit thats sort of the prototype for the real suit

I want the superman costume. I dont want the green arrow route(though i can get behind it once they give him a real mask and a goatee). Reeve's costume aka Supermans real costume needs to be the suit. If Dean Cain wore the damn suit for 4 seasons, Welling can wear it for 5 minutes.

no, the movie costumes are corny too. I guess I got used to the realism of the batman begins franchise costumes that anything else is kind of silly, IMO.

Well with smallville if we do see tom in a costume for any length it will probably be something simular to green arrow's or other jl members. Probably more like aquaman's but superman colors and the symbol.

Absolutely. If (and that's a pretty big if) the suit is to be used, it should respect the classic design. But it should also be unique to Tom, with no visible influences from previous actors.

There is only one Superman suit.

If Welling's suit doesn't resemble the Reeve suit then he simply doesn't wear a Superman suit,

Well, I do think that the suit he should wear would, indeed "resemble" the Reeve suit, in that it, too, would be the Classic suit. However, that doesn't mean it couldn't and shouldn't vary from the Reeve suit in \S/ style, measurements, materials, and specific hues.

you know what would be a good moment if Oliver made the suit for him and left it for him in the barn and he's got it on but somethings missing so he goes into the trunk and gets of the Warrior Angel Cape.

it actually fits in very well with the other smallville costumes and is a nice homage to the comics.
