Which will be the movies big "setpiece" this time around

Okay, yes this has been discussed before but since we know about some of the fights in the movie, I was curious because raimi always has a big centerpiece or main fight. In part 2 it was the train fight,now its different, we have like four fights. Many may think that the CS final battle should be the main battle and I think it should. But Raimi always has kind off a crucial action piece, and as seen in SP 2 we know that it is not nescessarily the last fight.Which one would you want it to be the main or "the big" fight/battle in SP 3? The subway black spidey vs sandman fight,the final 2 on 2, or other. Which will it be for you?

Well the first ahd two really (World Unity Festival and Bridge/Warehouse) the second had three (I think the Bank/Battle WAlltop is just as big if a little smaller than that of the train and the warehouse at the end was a big scene, even if the fighting was less intense).

I think you'll have the armor car, Harry's first attack on Peter, the subway/sewers with Sandman, the church and the finale. Yes that sounds like a lot, but this is much more expensive (and hopefully half an hour longer as POTC did it and worked, as did SR).

I think the biggest one will be the finale though because it is the climax of the trilogy will have three supervillains (though one will turn good) and end with Spidey vs. Venom which will be what the whole movie is building to. All of Spider-Man's doubts and weaknesses in this film and the last and the first one too are all in Venom and he is now going to face his inner demons and what he could have become. It is the final climax then.

Doesn't SM3 have a train fight? If it does, I think that will be a big setpiece. But I don't know. Both the Spidey movies, always at the end, they have there fight at abandoned places. Know what I mean.

Black Spidey vs. Sandman

Spidey vs. Symbiote

Spidey vs. Sandman vs. GG2 vs. Venom

Spidey vs. Venom

And some another action scene.

So we will get 7 action sequences, what is enough for the movie, which will be about 140-150 mins.

The biggest battle should obviously be the construction site/final battle as it has the combination of all the villains (harry on spideys side). I would like to see some major battles with GGII with and without the symbiote, same with sandman. The car chase scene should be pretty big and they probably wont make the subway scene nearly as close as it was in SM2.

I have a hunch that the main extravegent set piece in Spider-Man 3 is the church and the bell tower. It is the climactic moment where Peter Parker loses total control and realises that he must get rid of the symbiote costume. Eddie Brock is praying before commiting suicide down in the church right before the symbiote oozes down creating Spider-Man's most fearsome nemesis.

Well, I dont think Bruce will be Mysterio, most likely just Quentin Back, why?

A) We didn't get any pic with him in this suit.

B) Avi actually meant not Mysterio, but some hint for Quentin Back.

Yea I know what you mean,and the curch /bell tower scene will be big,but when I said set piece I really meant action/fight setpiece, given that this movie will focus more on the symbiote storyline I think that the black spidey vs sandman in the sewers battle will be the main attraction, Iam sure the fight will also take place in the streets and then it gets to the sewers,sandman will be cocky at first,but when black spidey starts kicking his ass sandman will notice that he's not fighting the same spiderman he beated before but a much stronger ,faster, more agressive and agile spidey. And then sandman will start running for his life. If you look at his face expression in the trailer when black spidey shoots the web at him,sandman looks desperate, I would say even scared of spidey. It should be a huge fight,although the final battle at the CS should be huge too,after all it has a 2 on 2 and spidey's standoff with venom. I hope raimi and his team has some cool spidey moves for that fight.
