White Nick Fury or Black Nick Fury, who do you prefer?

I don't like Ultimate Nick Fury as much, because he's not Nick Fury at all. They couldn't have just had him be Gabriel Jones, or anything? But Bendis doesn't know who that is. I'm surprised Izzy Cohen isn't in Ultimates at all, though.

Sam Jackson could probably sue Bendis for using his likeness.

I've always felt that 616 Fury isn't as much of a dick to the superheroes as the ultimate one so I'll pick him. The fact that 616 Fury has only lost and eye and not an arm AND an eye clinches it for me.up:

BTW, does anyone else remember Fury's first appearance in Ult. X-Men? Where he was brown skinned but didn't look African-American? I think he looked cool there.

I think that white fury plays the part better,seems like theres so much on his mind and that hes always exausted and bottles up way more then the average human,as though his job has changed him.Black fury,he seems to enjoy his job a bit to much and even though in the ult U shield is a much smaller organization,it seems that fury wouldent be able to handle it by himself and would at times complian and I think white fury could kill a man and forget he did it as easy as we forget where we put are keys while rushing out the door and letting the dog out where as black fury would think about it in his spare time.

He couldn't, since he okayed them likening the character to him. I think they even asked him before they went with it in Ultimates (which is why you've got those two totally different Furies in the Ultimate U).

Anyway, I like the white Nick Fury better. The original Fury badass.
