Who comes off as very intelligent in their off screen interviews and such, in your opinions?

I know some may think I'm crazy for saying this, but Ben Affleck seems like a really knowledgeable guy in real life. I heard him talking about technology and politics in an interview and I was pretty impressed.

so the answer would seem to be "start a who are the dumbest actors thread to get a response to this question" :0

Morgan Freeman is by far the most intelligent guy I have ever seen in Hollywood.

No. I always despised him, but then I saw him on SNL acting like that bald, buck-toothed right-hand-man of Clinton's and he blew me off of my lounger.

I say, Meryl Streep, Geena Davis, errrmmmm, Jack White? (he was in that lame movie with what's her face.), Spacey, Pacino, Catherine O'Hara, TOM HANKS (Hate his movies, always quick to watch him in interviews!, funny as f***.........s***-movies though.:down), Ozzy Osbourne, Jello Biafra,

ANDY KAUFMAN

Alan Alda, Natalie Portman, Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby, Bob Newhart, Carrie Fisher, Kevin Smith (His movies suck pale, hairy aY-Uss, he should've been a film critic or a columnist, 'cause he rocks, but, JEsus, his movies,...like the soiled diaper of a kid who was fed nothing but plain yogurt, ranch dressing and chili-dogs.:down)

Many more.

David Duchovny has a PhD in English Literature from Yale, so I'd say he counts :o

Is it an honorary PhD?

Seth McFarlane got an honorary title from Harvard. He is an intelligent guy, though.

No, he got his bachelor at Princeton (played Basketball for them for a year too) and then got his Masters and Doctorate at Yale.

Robert Englund is suprisingly intelligent, considering he's primarily known only for playing Freddy Kreuger.

I agree, and Rachel MacAdams to mee sounds very charamastic and smart.

Tommy Lee Jones ... graduate of Harvard, so that's saying something.

I've gotta stick up for britain.

So I'll say bill Bailey and Simon Pegg. :)

Cate Blachett (Not only does she is a good interview, but she never picks a bad film)

Keira Knightley (She is the best interview in Hollywood, right now anyway).

Ashton Kutcher (He is extremely coherent and witty when he is in an interview, and at least thoughtful. However, he has that "you can take the boy out of Iowa but you can't take the Iowa out of the boy" pesonality. So he is limited in range of subjects).
