"[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Whichever character is going to become pregnant (remember the choices of the expectant couple: Chloe/Jimmy, Lana/Lex, and Martha/Lionel) soon will be wearing an engagement ring. Could a proposal and wedding be in the show's future? Our guess here, combined with the hints in The CW's "Rage" description " is that the mother to be will be Lana."

If this is true, her baby will end up dying cause she didn't have a baby in the comics with Lex. She had one with Pete though! Chloe and Jimmy? BWAHAHAHA! Come one... Martha and Lionel?! EW

This isnt the comics. :yay:

I'd bet a few dollars that Lana will get preggers, Lex will propose.. she'll accept, then have second doubts as she realizes more and more that he's BAD!Lex. Then something will happen that will result in her losing the baby (and possibly dying herself).. Lex will, for whatever reason, blame Clark.

Not that I WANT it to go this way.. :( But it just seems plausible.

I agree with that, except for the Lana dying bit and I also think that she'll find out about Clark along the way and somehow all that will be Clark's fault and give reason for Lex to hate him even more.

You know something that just occurred to me recently is Lana is already protecting Clark from Lex, by not telling Lex that Clark knew that he was going to turn into Zod.

The fact that she's held on to that little bit of information has not gone unnoticed, trust me. ;)

She's holding back because I think she still deep down knows that Clark is a good guy, even if she is angry with him.

You've noticed that too. Have you seen it mentioned elsewhere?

Well that makes sense.

I think this Clexana triangle, without any romantic connotations attached to it, is definitely the most interesting triangle to watch unfold.

I think every Clana fan uttered an "awwww..." in unison when that scene played. ;)
And yeah, I have seen it also mentioned elsewhere. But it's funny how it seems to have been overlooked in general. It's not any big revelation that we all see the show through biased filters. I had a little exchange with someone elsewhere after she, and someone else, commented on how Lana was cold and ignored Lois in Reunion when Lois was talking to her.

My reaction was, "Huh?" That was a favorite scene of mine because I love Lana/Lois interaction. I think they have a much more respectful and honest friendship than Chloe and Lana ever had. I also think there's a reason that these are the two women that Clark Kent chooses to love in his life.

Anyway, I showed this person the screencap from right after Lois made her "Lord of the Flies" joke that clearly shows Lana cracking up at Lois' joke.

Well, I'm enjoying it, but those three are hands-down still my favorite 3 characters.

Ahem.

Not to beat my own drum, but as I so eloquently posted in an earlier SV thread:

Squatlow said:
Lana is actually dead. Much like Dorothy's house falling on the witch in the Wizard of Oz, the black ship actually fell on Lana at the end of season 4. Current "Lana" is a Brainiac construct. Ultimately Chloe (realizing her real destiny) will change her name to Lana Lang and settle in Smallville as the 'Lana' we all know and love. Thus the 'Chlana' becomes the one who knows Clark is Superman and occasionally comes to his aid in later life....

You know, that sounds so familiar....

Oh, I do tend to surprise myself now and again.

:woot: :woot:

That certainly fits the playbook, unfortunately.

Has Lana told Clark about Lex's alien weapon doohickey with Kuwachi writing on it that Lex is currently having analyzed?

I'm not sure what she's doing, but every time she keeps stuff to herself in order to do her own "research," she gets burned. Now she's playing with matches again, and this time she's in a rocket fuel factory. When will the girl ever learn? :p

I think we're all pretty sure it will be Lana. But I'm still kinda ticked that they are going there.

for me any way

No gimmick (such as the shark-jumping episode from Happy Days) will make me stop watching SV. Some episodes may be silly, and I may end up not liking some characters that I'm actually supposed to like LOL), but that won't make me stop watching. I give up on shows when they get boring and I don't care about the characters any more. SV is nowhere NEAR that. They can do whatever they want with Lana, I watch the show for Clark, and he gets better every year. I'm in this for the long haul. :D

I agree Patsy.

I watch for the story of Lex and Clark, and I have yet to be dissapointed. Heck even the exploding baby didn't get me to swear off the show.

Why would she? Is he an alien or something?
D'oh! :p

If he asked her or showed her that he needed to know, I think she would. Just like when she found him going through her room and he asked her to tell him where Lex's laboratory was - she was pissed, but she told him.
