She is by the age to be a good somewhat long time as Captain Marvel and looks the part.

OK. After watching that, I'm going to have to vote "no". I'm thinking that Blunt, Theron, and Pike (and you can throw in Strahovski if you want) might be slightly better actors and more suited to the role.

I didn't know that. I vaguely remember new girl leaving or something. I think that show has kind of run its course.

Yvonne has Manhattan Nocturne coming out on May 20 (VOD and select theaters), and All I See is You, which will likely be on the film festival circuit (maybe Cannes or Toronto?) Of the two films, All I See is You seems much more promising. She just needs that one film role to get her noticed, and I hope this one is it. It always seems to work that way (Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl, Amy Adams in Junebug, Jessica Chastain in The Help, etc).

Ya think? I saw Yvonne doing an interview talking about the shoot she did where she had to have her whole body painted. That must have been pretty weird for her. The shoot itself was pretty amazing. I guess if I was an artist, that would have been a pretty good gig. Bet he got paid a lot too.

Yeah. It (and she) was beautiful. I don't remember too many details about the painting, but they painted leaves and so forth on her and she posed next to various plants and stuff. I just remember being pretty wowed by it.
