I'm not saying they did but, i'm always suspicious of boyfriends, parents etc. who court publicity etc.

Anyone else feel this way when they see "Parents Statement" in this type of case. Moral Panics, stranger danger it's usually those closest to the victim.

I agree -- it's like an episode of Columbo. :D

I admit it was one of the first things I thought.

Nowt wrong with being cynical, eh? :)

I think it's perfectly appropriate to investigate the parents in a situation like this.

We haven't had near the news coverage in the states that you people have, in fact, there's been very little, but the case really caught my attention when they did turn the tables and officially announce the parents as suspects. There are just so many questions, though. If they were responsible for her death, where is she? How did they hide her in all the media frenzy, the frenzy that they themselves instigated? If that was her hair in the trunk of their car, why weren't other body samples found (assuming she had been dead for over three weeks, her body would have been decomposing and surely more would have been left behind.)

It's all very puzzling.

Hey, American women, what are you trying to say? ;)

No, I agree totally. Anything is possible in the world we live in; every road should be explored in trying to solve what has happened here.

Sorry, I meant you British people. :o And Europeans too, I'm sure.

Don't sweat it. I'm half British, half Transylvanian, and half pi$$ed. Pi$$ed egg at night, casey take flight.

Erm . . . sorry. Will lay off the booze, or lay off the posting when I'm not laying off the booze.

So . . . *goes for drunken wander*

 The oval avenger is ... scrambled?!
