Anyone else agree? Ofcourse you do. it's one of the most fun movies ever made. Well acted, beautifully animated and clever aswell.

Give it up for this piece of film-history.

It's a special movie. The combination of 30's crime, golden age Hollywood and classic cartoon characters is inspired. Who would have though it would work?

My favourite part is at the climax, where Bob Hoskins is trying to sing while he beats up the weasels.

Eddie: I'm tired of getting hurt, I'm bouncing off the walls, without that gun, I'd have some fun, I'd kick you in the....
Roger: Nose!
Smart Ass: Nose? That don't ryhme with walls!
Eddie: No, but this does!

Eddie kicks Smart Ass in the balls, right into a vat of dip.

I love this film. Great whodunit with comic twists.

I think it's Zemeckis' best work to this very day. And kevin, couldn't agree more. It really is a special film. I first saw it at a friends house when I was 7 years old and it was just stuck in my brain as the greatest thing I've ever seen in my life up until that point. No film using a similar premise has matched its cool quality ever since, not Space Jam, Not Looney tunes back in Action. Roger Rabbit was unique in that for whatever reason Disney and WB allowed for pretty much ever character under their copyrights into the same film together. It's like it was a celebration of all the great things both companies accomplished for Animation over the years, with all their competition aside. I loved that. It makes me want to be a cartoonist.

And this movie proved Hoskins is God. Who'd have thought this guy could act with NOTHING BUT air and make you think he was really interacting with something. That's truly amazing when you think about it. He even has an fake american accent the entire film, but it's so perfect... I didn't believe it when I watched the special features and he was using his normal accent. The man's a brilliant actor.

I wouldnt know who Bob Hoskins was if it werent for this movie:up:.........and Mario Bros.

My favorite scene had to be with Daffy and Donald Duck fighting at the piano bar. It was definately better than the Mickey Mouse/Bugs Bunny scene (that was a let down). Great movie overall. I even once considered getting a tatoo of Jessica Rabittt. If I ever did get a tatoo, it would be of her.

I like the Acme black hole things they had, those were great :D

"Pppp pp pp pp p pp pp p lease eddie!"

What ever happened to Zemeckis? Such a genius, showed such early potential, and now does nothing but lame schlock.

what are the chances it will be remade in CGI within the next 10 years :(

About as much of a chance that they'll make an all CG Pete's Dragon.

I read that alot. That people think he is American. Hell, even I thought he was American...

The ultimate proof that Hoskins is God is The Long Good Friday. With his real accent he kicks ass even more.

And what about Christopher Lloyd. Even better then his Doc brown role. The guy is bone-chilling as Judge Doom. And the twist is insane. SURPRISED?!

I can't get tired of this movie. It is completely unique.

Its definitely one of the more original films Ive ever seen and thats saying a lot.

Remember me, Eddie? When I killed your brother, I talked... just... like... THIS!

I loved Cast Away but couldn't even finish Polar Express.

My snobby elitist friend hates him because of his over-sentimentality, but I love Zemeckis. He's supposed to be doing Beowulf next. :wow:

One of my favorite movies of all time. My favorite scene is the finale at the Acme factory, and the whole scene in Toontown which looks amazing. The special/visual effects in that movie were awesome.

Good film, great idea to have the animated world in it.

what was so special about this movie was the fact that it created every young child (everyone in fact) dream to interact and live with the greatest cartoon characters! and it did it so seamlessly

I love when Judge Doom gets flattened by the steam roller and than gets back up and uses the air canister to re-inflate him self.

One of the best moments indeed.

And when the weasels die laughing. You see all their spirits fly up and one of them switches the lever to turn on the Dip-machine as a last act of cruelty..:D
