Which actor do you think did the best job?

Major characters only, so no JJJ, Aunt May, Betty or Dr. Connors in the poll.

James Franco all the way. Topher Grace and even Thomas Haden Church could have compared if most of their dialogue wern't spliced out.

Howards performance was flawless, totally unused. If I seen enough of Grace, maybe him.

James Franco. The rest of the cast was good, but that guy really made an outstanding job

Franco close thread... Brock was decent though.... I am in the minority on that... but if they gave him more screen time it would've been better

James Franco stole the movie hook, line, and sinker. He was brilliant.

I was expecting greatness from Thomas Haden Church, but he had so little dialogue, and half the time he was just a cgi sand monster or sand storm. Which all looked great, but robbed him of any kind of personality.

"I'm the other guy, Pete".... ****ing brilliant... and the mansion scene was phenomenal... it saved the movie for me personally... THAT was a brother vs brother fight...

:woot::up: Agreed whole-heartedly. Didn't feel like anything we had previously gotten in a Spider-Man film, when Peter and Harry raised their fists we got a proper CLASH of a battle. The dialogue was also amazing.

I'm not surprised that you all think the same.

James Franco for sure:oldrazz:

I liked Topher a lot in this film... but the Gwen angle was NON existent... no screen time for it... and I doubt there are any deleted scenes though I hope there are... Topher was a good comic relief though... but so under freaking utilized.... god damn why weren't these flicks divided... still can't get over it... DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DDDDDDAAAAAMMMMMNNNN... (sorry bout that)

James Franco. Give the man an Oscar!

Now why wasn't the rest of the film like that...

James Franco has been the finest cast member all the way.

Topher Grace's performance was good though his short time span in the movie is not gonna make him shine at all like we all expected.

Looking back to the first 2 movies, I'm not so sure about the 'finest all the way' comment. He got pretty annoying in SM2 during the scene when he introduced Peter and Ock, and although it technically is a character thing, it sort of got on my nerves. I'm not sure I liked his delivery of his little rant at the bar either. But he was fantastic with what little he was given in SM3. I love seeing that guy smile. Something changed between SM2 and 3, and I like it. I hope his future projects serve him better than the flops he's signed up for outside of the SM movies.

Topher Grace OWNED this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was great!
