The tune is "Tikal" by E.S. Posthumus, track 2 off their album Unearthed, in case you were still wondering.

It's a fantastic album, and you've probably heard other tunes in different trailers, like "Nara" in Unfaithful or "Pompeii" in Spider-Man, to name a couple.

What program is the guy using to draw that?

Definitely one of the Adobe programs, either Photoshop or Illustrator. Can't tell which exactly, but I'm guessing Illustrator.

It looks more Photoshop to me - Illustrator is vector based. If you're thinking of getting into that kind of thing then you might want to check out Corel Painter instead. It's a similar interface but is geared towards creating art instead of retouching photos.

the music was rediculously dramatic and the drawing wasn't even that great.

I'd give the finished piece a 6/10, at best.
