like, can you play...Crazy Train?
I learned that one like 8 or 9 years ago, just for the fun of it

This street musician was trying to play it when I was walking home one day and he was playing the riff all wrong, and the wrong key, and it bugged me so much that I stopped and said, "Dude. Gimmee the guitar." and he looked weird, but did and I taught him the right way to play it.:)
He was very happy.

I play. Sort of. Badly. To the point that my band would never let me bring a guitar on stage with me. LOL!

i've played the guitar for 13 years now... self-taught, with a few tips picked up here and there... in high school and college, i was in a couple rock groups, but the last year of college, i started playing a lot of accoustic shows with one of the guys who was in my last band... after college, we kinda went our separate ways, and i've played a couple solo gigs, but nothing big... i write a lot of my own stuff, though, and i love performing, so even though i know it'll probably never really go anywhere, i'm sure i'll never fully give it up...

i started out on the piano, 3 years before i picked up the guitar (though i quit taking piano lessons 11 years ago, and i don't practice much, i can at least read and write sheet music)... i've also learned drums and bass, and i sing...

music has always been important to me...

I can't say I "play" guitar, since I'm not in a band or anything, but I do pound out some killer palm muted driven riffs. I don't know one single scale, but can play any thrash metal riff I've tried to learn. I'm just not very dedicated.

I have many guitars, but my favorite is...

I collect guitars namely the explorer type. They are my favorite, because I'm so tall I look goofy with anything else. Plus Hetfield is the the best riff architect ever!:ghost:

I thought you were in a band:huh:

It was nothing serious.

I play at church sometimes, and my nephew and I are working on a Christmas melody, which will be played with harmonized and distorted much like something Iron Maiden would do, or think of the middle part of Orion.

So far we got "What Child is This?", "Oh come all yee faithful", "Mary did you know", and "Joy to the World". It's fun playing like that, I will be using swells and my volume peda a lot, plus a little delay (actually a lot- since I'm not to corodinated with my foot:D). Anyway, it will be fun.

The classical Christimas songs are much to be appreciated. They are all so sad, but uplifting musically at the same time. I'm gonna see Trans Siberian Orchestra on the 7th of November, and I can't wait.

You should play death metal at the church, too:yay:

I play guitar! I have an Ibanez Rg270, and an Ibanez Prestige Rg2570. I play metal, actually music written by me and my band (if you want to check out, go to www.myspace.com/weaknessfound ) and som songs by Nevermore (and a pair from Megadeth).

Then, I have 2 classic guitars and 1 acoustic 12 strings.

I learned all by my self, began more than 8 years ago studying on a book by Joe Satriani and watching Metallica and Iron Maiden video tapes :D

Just get off the Hype and go practice some scales.

hahah! freakin a.

I've been playing for half my life (i'm 21). Pick a song. I'll probably know it. If i dont, let me listen to it and i'll figure it out right then and there. however, for the last couple years i've spent most my time writing my own songs.
