For the life of me I can't remember his name.

He's from the old cartoon series. I think he had black hair, he was insanely powerful, and had really weird/sharp teeth. Maybe he had a white face? I don't exactly remember.

Pics would be helpful if anyone could post who they think I'm talking about.

And it's not Omega Red, I do know that. This guy had a flattop haircut if I remember right.

BTW, this doesn't go in the spoilers forum. It goes in the X-Men comics forum.

Mr. Sinister.

YES!!!!!!! Thank you. It was one of those things that bugs you until you figure it out. I was about to go crazy over here!

Yup, it definitely should be Nathaniel Essex (Mr. Sinister). He's Gambit's father and right hand of Apocalypse...and his traitor as well :/

not in continuity (yet), read x-men: the end book 2. Rogue is killed by Sinister too.

he isn't gambits father, gambit came to him because he couldn't controll his powers as a teenager and sinister planted a chip inside his brain that helped him controll his powers, in return Gambit had to do the whole morlock massacre for him, not his father though, sinister never loved anyone after like 1880 or something

you obviously haven't read X-men the end then, or my last post.
He is his father, actually, he's sinisters clone (which explains the eyes.)
Sinister also used Cyclops Dna to create his powers.

He is Gambit's father in the cartoon.

I don't know what's in the cartoon (I haven't watched last 14 or so episodes yet) but in end, he's Gambit's progenitor, so technically, he's his father.

hmmm i think they're is a continuity error then in the comics, because the original sinister origin was once his wife died when he was essex, and then became the sinister, he never loved again...it makes no sense, that means someone would have to **** sinister around like 1968 or so..while he looks the way he does, and is also insane, that makes no sense....

also originally the first time sinister saw gambit was during a mission back intime for gambit where he ran into sinister and he (sinister) noticed his emmense power

if that is a newer storyline, that i missed, it's crap, and makes little sense

gambit was abandoned at birth because of his demonic like red eyes, if sinister was his father why would he abandon him cause of his eyes...its crap

Gambit was abandoned by adoptive parents and became a street thief in New Orleans. Gambit is actually a clone of Sinister and combined with Cyclop's DNA/Powers.

wait a second, the Xmen the end series takes place in an alternate reality, you guys are right, and so am i, that isn't the same reality as the normal xmen comics take place in

It's crazy complicated.

The comics fooled around with the rumor that Gambit was made in Sinister's image like they tooled around with Mystique being Nightcrawler's mother. I don't think they actually prooved that Gambit was a clone but Sinister went on to explain that he was. I don't know if Sinister was trying to win over Gambit in a rouse to get him on his side or if it was actually true.
