I have been an avid follower of the UFC since probably the mid 90's. I have trained in some BJJ (brazilain ju jitsu), and kenpo karate. I am so psyched about the fight between tito and liddell at the end of the month. I love tito and think it's his time, although chuck is one of the most dominate strikers in the game! I also am ready for the Ultimate fight night live next week and the VGA's too!

I haven't watched UFC in a long while. Though I have some later UFC DVD's, UFC's 50-56.

Liddell will squash Ortiz though.

I do.

Liddell and Hughes = The. Most. Badass.

Didn't Hughes just get ***** slapped by a French Canadian?

BTW, the Ortiz v. Lidell match will be great. Only chance Ortiz has is to keep the fight on the mat, if the majority of the fight is standing then Ortiz will go night-night at some point.

Btw, I don't like Ortiz. I hope Liddell kills him.

Hope Liddell wins as well, hope he breaks the trend of Champs losing their belts (Hughes and Franklin); though Sylvia defended his belt.

He did. And it was amazing! GSP really kicked his ass and Hughes didn't even see that coming. I like both of them and that night, the better figher (GSP) won.

Don't forget to watch Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Riggs on Spike TV on Dec. 13.

I would also like to add that I'd like to see someone beat Sylvia. He may be a good fighter but most of the time, it's boring as heck to watch him fight.

Most heavyweight fights are boring, IMO, little to no action. Thats why I'm glad they brought back the lightweights, technical fast paced matches. The Shirk/Florian fight was great.

Yep, true and Sylvia is one of them. How do you think the fight will go if he's to fight Vera? The thing with Sylvia that annoys me is he takes his time to strike and not aggressive enough for my liking. He prefers to wait and dance around the octagon than fight. But when he does fight, he's good.

I think I might have missed the Shirk/Florian fight. What do you think of Joe Stevenson fighting in a lower weight class now? I thought he's pretty awesome.

Vera v. Sylvia would be a fight I'd like to see, because Sylvia will throw with Vera since he'd have such a size advantage. I think if the 'Truth' Vera wants to hold both the Light-Heavyweight and Heavyweight Belts he may want to start with Liddell or Ortiz, depending one who wins the upcoming fight.

The Sherk/Florian fight was just before the Silvia/Franklin fight. It went all 5 rounds and lots of blood. BTW the Silvia/Franklin was such a let down, Franklin just got dominated.

Joe Stevenson moving down to Lightweight makes sense, simply because he'd be overmatched against the elite welterweights. He's closer to his natural weight as a lightweight and won't be over powered, except by Sherk. But he's much more techinally gifted fighter than Sherk, so he has great chance of winning the belt.
