World Who remembers Madame Web?

I was just thinkin about spider-man or somethin the other day when Madame Web from the animated series popped into my head.

good old Madame Web, is she still used by Marvel?

I haven't seen her for a while...like the early 2000's.

EDIT: my bad! wow i'm slow today....that pic is from during the time Spidey first wore his iron spidey suit in sensational...I believe that was her last appearance in a spidey book.

She was actually used in Sensational Spider-Man quite a bit before it was canceled. Damn shame. I would have taken the Sensational writer over JMS to write on Amazing. Straz was a good writer, but I loved the references to old comics and the use of supporting characters in Sensational. Thats what Amazing should be.

and I'm not sure remembering one more day is a good thing...

as for Evolve or die. only the new avengers and the parker family starred in that storyline with appearances from the fantastic four and black panther. (I'm talking about the good supporting cast of course.)

Who could forget Madame Web? Such an interesting character, kind of ironic that her name is Madame WEB and she's a part of the Spidey universe.

Yeah, she had a big role in the 90s series. I think that's when I was first introduced to the character (as a kid). I never really understood her . . . existence. She never made sense to me, but her intentions and wisdom was clear.

Yeah, I never found her comic counterpart interesting....
They did a really good job with her on the 90's series however.

I agree with the top part. The 90's series had her in WAAAAAYYY too many episodes. Uncle Ben should be guiding Peter to do what's right, not Web. Hate the character.

Roberto Sacasa was the writer. Dude is EXCELLENT!

She was different, but they did a fair job with her.
