I think all five Spider-Man movies had many great visual moments so who should follow Don Burgess, Bill Pope, John Schwartzman and Daniel Mindel?

My tips:

Anthony Dod Mantle (Slumdog Millionaire, Dredd, Rush)

Hoyte Van Hoytema (The Fighter, Her, Interstellar)

Rodrigo Prieto (Brokeback Mountain, Argo, The Wolf of Wall Street)

Robert Elswit (There Will Be Blood, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, The Town)

Mauro Fiore (The Island, Avatar, The Equalizer)

Greig Fraser (Snow White and the Huntsman, Zero Dark Thirty, Foxcatcher)

I preferred the cinematography in the Raimi films to the Webb films. I think that would also match better with the MCU style of films too.

I think there was a huge difference between Burgess' and Pope's work for Raimi. I think SM1 was closert to action movies from late 90s and SM2 had richer colours and was more dynamic. But personally I love SM1 cinematography and would love to see Don Burgess back.

Gordon Willis, James Wong-Howe or Gregg Toland
