Justice League Who Should Be The Villain?

Anti-Monitor could be a great "final" villain. I love the concept of the multiverse and if WB is forward thinking enough, they could do a Crisis-based story in the third JL film that "resets" the universe, allowing for new versions of characters to be introduced (i.e., if Ben Affleck wanted to hang up the cowl after a few films, they could introduce a new actor in the role in the "reset" DC universe).

That's why i say Darkseid isn't like Thanos, once you get through with him you can sill go with Crisis, Anti-Monitor, alternate dimension Injustice League, Superman Prime, Nekron, etc.

The first film should go with a major thread, with Snyder doing this i see Darkseid being the most likelly scenario, the 2nd film however, should either explore the multiverse with a Crisis on Two Eaths/ Injustice/ Forever Evil scenario or with Tower of Babel mixed with Justice and other Legion of Doom related stories, in this case, various villains band together in order to destroy their oponents using hacked Batman plans, would be a "reaction" by the villains to the heroes teaming up

I´m thinking.

1. Amazo-Savage or Ares (The Rock) trying to create a war between Atlantis, Themyscara and the surface dwellers, or some combination of that.

2. White Martians in order to bring in MMH along with Flash and Green Lantern. Thinking GL sort of gets called home about a threat in his sector and that he joins the JL for obvious reasons. MMH would get his proper origin and Flash would have his own movie so we´d get why he showed up. GL should have had his movie to which could end with an alarm about a threat in his sector.

3. CSA, we don´t even need a new member. Would be nice if the movie focused on the existing but perhaps Billy Batson could join but not any more.

4. Darkseid, been teased for years and even appeared in MoS 3 or 4 in connection to either Brainy or Doomy. Perhaps he opened a phantom zone projector he found as he searched for heralds to his army and perhaps we get New Gods/Old gods in connection to Wonder Woman. But DS should be pulling strings, perhaps even be seen in a GL movie.

DC has so many great Justice League villains it's very difficult to choose. I have to say though, Starro has been growing on me. If done right it would be entirely different from anything we have ever seen and would allow us to get a bunch of hero fights.

I do think the most likely candidates for the villain(s) are

Darkseid
Brainiac
Ocean Master and Ares ( via Atlantis vs Themyscira war)
Omacs (if not in B vs S)


Bigger threats can be saved for sequels Imperiex I'd like to see as the final villain of the JL franchise. In between there could be Doomsday or the Crime Syndicate, White Martians, Starro, Despero etc

Well I liked Faora, would be cool to have her + some other female powerhouses as seen in Superman Batman: Apocalypse, I think. Perhaps Kara could be there?

Darkseid, Brainiac or Doomsday would be fine with me.

The problem with Doomsday is that he is that he's a little too extreme for the likes of Batman in terms of being a physical threat.. which limits Batman's role to 'thinker'.

Whereas Darkseid & Brainiac will in theory have minions that Batman would actually be able to get involved with.

The main thing for me in terms of villian(s) is that much like The Avengers, I want everyone on the team to be able to play a major part in how the film plays out.

For a first 'Justice League' film, I wouldn't go Darkseid. If JL is shooting right after Superman vs. Batman, and SvB will introduce Cyborg and Wonder Woman, for the first Justice League movie, I'd have it as the introduction to Aquaman with Orm aka Ocean Master being the villain. In invasion story of Atlantean's attacking the surface after Orm overthrows Aquaman would be cool. Have Aquaman side with the Justice League to take down the Atlantean armies.

Could be cool. Introduces Aquaman, and gives him a backstory for any future movies.

I'd love to see new gods explored eventually, I certainly don't want just Darkseid with Parademons. I'd hope for Orion, Kalibak, Furies etc. Perhaps he is too much for the first JL movie. I think he's the most likely, and my own personal choice for the JL first feature would be
