Sequels Who the Upcoming Villains Should BE

I usually only hang out in the product forum, but I think the villains for the upcoming movies should be, Morbius, Lizard, and Venom and Carnage

Anyway, I think Morbius is with Blade, so that should eliminate him.

Thanks Riddlerkid, I appreciate it. Morg, I think you will live when someone posts an extra thread on an internet message board. Riddler, I see what you mean with Morbius, and I could see Electro and Sandman for 4. But I would really want to see Venom and Carnage in a movie together, that would be awesome.

My thesis says that Venom and Carnage will not reach a movie within this Spider-Man series, they can be great in movies and cartoons, but I doubt they'll get a film here and their translation will never be that great for most people.

The only way I can see them getting anywhere is if they get to another film company and produce their own films, which will probably be poorly done and a short budget.

But thats they way I have looked at it for a while.

Venom and Carnage would be extremely tough to pull off, with getting their backround stories in and all. Unless Brock was introduced in an earlier movie, and then you learn about Carnage. I think Venom and Carnage would be an awesome way to end the series.

What is the actual name of uncle Ben's killer? in the Spider-Man movie-verse, if Cletus Kassidy was the killer and had been incarcerated instead of presumably killed from what I could tell in S-M 1, Carnage could've been the final villain in S-M 6 after the symbiote was introduced and worn by Peter in S-M 4, with the Lizard as the featured villain, and Venom appeared and was dealt with in S-M 5. I know that's taking a lot of liberty with the character of Cletus Kassidy, but it gives him an important place in the mythos as he would've been uncle Ben's killer and the catalyst to Peter becoming Spider-Man in the first place. It also gives Peter the chance to exact lethal vengeance against a highly powered foe instead of a petty criminal. It's farfetched, but I thought it would make a nice bookend to the series.

Interesting idea...but the guy they cast as Ben's killer looks nothing like Kassady. It wouldn't really mesh.

SM franchise should go to 6 movies with , 3 sandman & gg2 intro to hobgoblin, 4 hobgoblin intro to brock , 5 detaling the symbiote saga includeing carnage, then 6 ending with a sinister six or multiple villans i know it can be done and done good to.

Yeah, I know, I was just saying it would've been an interesting angle as far as the movie-verse went. The guy they cast in S-M 1 looks more like Cletus Kassidy's old man.

No, that's the guy that makes a cameo appearance as Eddie Brock, I meant Michael Papajohn, who plays the carjacker/uncle Ben's killer.

Who should they be? Harry as a goblin, and Lizard. But no Venom. No story in these last 2 movies has been towards Venom at all so no way. Six movies would be nice, then you can have Venom last cuz Carnage sucks. All the main villains can be used for 6 movies.

I heard venom is in SM3 along with the sandman and green goblin. I also think carnage is a strong possiblility for SM4(read my thread). In SM6 they could've done the Sinister Six if they didn't make Doctor Octopus die. Thats my only problem with the movies, why make the villians die excluding SM1 where it makes sense to kill off Norman Osborn.

they cant do the sinister six anymore, they killed off Doc Ock, I thought the same as well.

SM3- Sandman, Hobgoblin (hired by Harry to kill Spidey, played by Topher Grace)

SM4- The Lizard, Electro, Mac Gargan (not yet Scorpion)

SM5- Venom, Cletus Kassidy (cellmate of Eddie Brock at the end)

SM6- Venom, Carnage

Carnage won't be in a movie. Venom ain't in 3. Eddie might be, not Venom, unless they mess his character up and the movie is 3 hrs. 3 villains? I don't think so.

If Venom is in S-M 3, then Sam Raimi truly hates him because it would not do the character justice to appear so out of the blue and share the screen with two other villains. Brock shouldn't even appear in 3, he should appear in 4, after the Goblin Legacy arc is resolved.
