it would be cool to see a comic that could mostly cover stuff that happened before the show started (70's, 80's, most of the 90's) and/or stuff that happened in between seasons.
The prequel type stuff would probably be more logical though, since you can draw young versions of the characters alot better than you can either make actors in live action look young or get lookalike younger actors. Prequel stuff is a better arena for the comic medium than sequel or "interequal".
If David Chase and/or some of the writers from the show got behind it with some amazing artists I think it could really break new ground in the medium.
Of course, maybe an animated mini-series would be the best, since the art could be so much more effective with hearing all that classic rock and other noises.
