It is highly regarded as the greatest super hero movie of all time. It had one of the best baddies to ever grace the big screen, Doctor Octopus, no thanks to a marvelous job from Alfred Molina. A wonderful preformance from Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker as we see his struggle to lead a normal life. Truly a pitch perfect representation of Peter's character. Some great CGI, especially during the web-slinging scenes, which I believe is the greatest veiw on how Spider-Man's web-swinging should be. Nothing else in other forms of media have captured it as so. I believe the most advanced CGI chip at the time was used for SM2. Excellent fight scenes also, the train sequence being most notible.
Parcially adaptating The Amazing Spider--Man # 50, in which may very well be my favorite scene from the entire trilogy, taken straight from a page from this issue is Peter leaving his costume in the trash in an alley. This scene is done perfectly, just love the atmosphere of it.
Now that my rant is over, your thoughts on the movie, or more specifically, do you think it is the best of the trilogy?
