I think he should fit the part
Too old, wouldn't be my first choice. But I'd be fine with it, he's a great actor, just a bit of a predictable choice. I'd rather have Alan Rickman
I'd be on board if nobody had mentioned Dalton, because Dalton is too damn perfect for the part.
Too old? He's 73.
I thought he was 80 something for some reason, nevermind
No. John Cleese.
Nah, too predictable. He's already played a comic book father figure role in Hellboy.
William Shatner or go home.
Yeah he looks Michael Caine's age but he's a good age for it.
Need some Timothy Dalton.
I thought Ian Holm would be a good option before I googled him and saw how old he's gotten.
That's the trick imo.
To find an actor, who is young enough to pump out a few films, but looks way older. To give Alfred the more tired, aged look.
People like Donald Sumpter at 70 and Jonathan Pryce at 66
I'd be happy with either Dalton for a more hardened ex military type Alfred, or John Cleese for a more traditional one.
Get in the car, Master Bruce
Jeremy Irons or Terence Stamp.
Terence Stamp would just feel weird.
Ah, the heck with it, Anthony Hopkins as Alfred
Statistically, someone would mention them.
I can see Pryce as a good Alfred.I'm still on Team Dalton, however.t:
Bale, he's from the UK.
