I go with the second option. I don't like him but I also never liked Ock but SM-2 changed that, so if they could pull it off right I might come to appreciate Kraven.

I don't know, perhaps I just saw Ock as a guy with four metal arms and less of an interesting character, but as I said I came to appreciate him as I read more about him. I knew nothing of Spider-Man world before the movies, only what I saw in TAS and what I played in Genesis games.

You see that's one of my points, how can the movie be about some guy hunting down the Lizard for whole 2 hrs. There has to be something more going on for it to be interesting, some other villain should be there. Like I said, introduce some world wide threat that might make things more complex and have the story drag out in two or three movies without having to insert needless stuff.

yeah...but the movie isn't about him, y'know.
he wouldn't be hunting Lizard for whole 2 hrs. theres other plots, characters...
Kraven would be like...1/3 of the movie, if not less.

If THE LIZARD is the main villain (being that there are TWO villains in SM4) then KRAVEN THE HUNTER is a must. It just makes more sense then any other duel choice.
