I wasn't to fond of the first season. I still watched it though....I might watch this season.

the first season was good (though it could've been a lot better) BECAUSE it was corny.

I just wish their decisions on who stays and who goes were a little less random and more convincing. it's pretty clear the thing is staged (and they barely make an effort to hide it, which is part of its charm), so just get some better writers....

Maybe the new season will have all the kinks worked out, such as making the eliminations look less random or making things less corny.
Not much I hope, because it is part of the charm, but still a little less might make the show better.
Maybe the new season will have things looking more stable and official, and maybe there will be better superheroes on it too.

Also I hope the comics drawn based on the characters are done better too, maybe by well known artists or something.

I have an idea for some superhero and wouldn't mind one or a few characters being used on the show, but I wouldn't want to be on the show myself though.
Not that any of the people on the show are actual comic creators, even the winner was an actor.

BTW, where the hell is that Sci-Fi movie? Did I miss it?

just because you're an actor or have an interest in acting doesn't mean your fake.

actors come from all sorts of backgrounds, believe it or not, actors actually have interests, like comics....

get this, i'm an engineering student, a fitness model, and wow, i act too! and i would love to be on a comic booky show because i love comics as well.

What would make this show awesome is if we got cameo appearances from "real" comic book heroes! Throw in a situation where the newbies come upon a scenario and all of a sudden Spidey appears and gives them instructions on how to handle the task at hand. The possibilities are endless!

Actually with Spidey's TV rights tied up, along with all popular superheroes, the possibilities are dramatically limited.

As for the acting, the elimination of Monkey Woman was clearly because she fell for leading questions about being MOTIVATED by her acting career to be on WWTBAS. That was one elimination that was not random, it was clear from the moment she took out a pen that MW had done the worst in that competition. Actors are free to come and represent their creations as long as they aren't using WWTBAS as a stepping stone to ACTING. Yes, it is a hypocritical requirement, but it IS a clearly set one.

That said, several of the other eliminations didn't seem justified at all, or thiny so. Working on that would be a good idea... more challenges couldn't hurt.

I'll definitely watch it... if I had more time/money (or if casting came through TN/AL areas) I would try and be IN it.

This show is rigged.
All of the people in the first season were actors.3
If you don't believe me, look them up on IMDB.

That really sucks!! It doesn't have to be limited to Spidey, any known Marvel hero would be cool, just a little something for the fans.

All reality shows are rigged. All reality shows involve actiong. Half the people in the first season were NOT actors. Go read a book, please. A good one.

It would be fine if they were actors, but when they talked about their backgrounds they didn't even mention acting. They mentioned things like being Firemen and former strippers and such. But never mentioned they did a little bit of acting in their past. thats the only reason it seemed suspicious, like they were hiding it. But I didn't really have a problem with them being actors.
