This has what to do with SR?

I was thinking the same thing. But to answer the question...I liked all of them really. I know a lot of folks done like Cain's performance. However, after watching the lois and clark dvds again I realized that I took entirely too seriously. It was much more campy than I remembered. But I hold it to a level of the old Batman TV show. Cain served his purpose on the show and I enjoyed it.

Routh can't even be counted........we haven't seen him as Superman yet. That's almost like asking, "Who's the worst FLASH?: Ryan Reynolds, John Wesley Shipp, or Michael Rosenbaum".......because there's no new movie out YET.

With that said......Dean Cain.

It's keeping the forum active through a total drought?

well its not working..i think boredom has already set in with some of us.

DEan Cain was the worst Superman. However he was the best Clark/Kal-El

Dean Cain. But Routh in that poll isn't right cause we really don't know how he'll be.

Dean Cain sucked as Superman and sucked MORE as Clark. He was nothing more than a cool guy to appeal to the female demographics. Where was the bumbling, quirky, awkward Clark? Nowhere. That's one reason I started to hate the show.

I'm surprised to see Tim Daly is not on your list ;)

I didn't like Dean Cain's Clark but they all have done a pretty good job as Superman except Routh and we haven't seen him yet.

George Reeves' Clark wasn't bumbling and awkward, and Dean Cain was the TV version of John Byrne's Superman that completely ditched that characterization. Why should Superman spend his "regular" life pretending to be an idiot?

Easily the worst.

It's debateable if you can consider his life at his job "regular". And I figured it was common knowledge that this "idiot" behavior (i.e. bumbling) was part of his disguise: "even though Clark looks a little like Superman, how can that clumsy fool be Earth's mightiest and greatest hero?" It was an interesting character trait, and without it, Dean Cain's Clark Kent was just another boring character in a drama.

The Superman and Clark in L&C were based on the Byrne version.

I wouldn't really want to pick a worst actor...I think they've all done a respectable job. Yes, even Cain...I'll concede that he's not one of the better ones, but I do believe he was underrated.

The old Batman tv show?...C'mon there's no way it was THAT campy...that's a tad harsh....

Cain was horrible as Superman. But I suppose I have to be fair and say that he suited the show, because it too, was crap.

No it wasnt as campy but it was on the same level for me personally. As in it shouldnt be taken too seriously.
