In all seriousness, this is Hollywood. Actors and everyone know the score. To be a leading man, you must be attractive. Odd looking people can be tremendous actors, but they are rarely leading men (or women). For people who don't meet the standard of Hollywood, there's the stage, television, etc.
You must be British, judging by your grammar, and are probably pulling for BC, which is fine. But Marvel has a history of being concerned not just with talent, but aesthetics. And BC's aesthetics are sub par. Sorry, but it is true. He would make a better villain than hero, because he's got that weasly thing going on.
Lastly, let's get real. One of the reasons people go to the movies is to see exceptionally good looking people on screen. Male, female, etc. The late, great film critic Gene Siskel admitted as much. How many working screen leading actresses aren't exceptionally pretty? LOL. NONE. I like watching pretty women, too!
So you would be angry at a Ruffalo lead Hulk film then?
There are a lot of leading actresses that aren't exceptionally pretty, Carey Mulligan, Renee Zellwegger, Maggie Gyllenhall, Kirsten Dunst, Jessica Chastain, Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore aren't even attractive then the likes of Sandra Bullock, Michelle Williams, Anna Kendrick aren't exactly stunners and a bunch of the best actresses are really old, so obviously their looks have gone.
In fact really there aren't many exceptionally pretty actresses who would rank amongst the best actresses.
