Who would be your dream creative team on the following...?

For an early years Batman I would say stick with Matt Wagner on writing and artwork. His Batman and the Monster Men, Batman and The Mad Monk stuff was freakin' awesome. It all took off on the golden age Batman. Just fantastic.

As for present day I love Grant Morrison's stuff as it is and would like to see him stay on the writing but have Ivan Reis do the artwork. It would be truly, truly magical.

Dave McKean is my favorite living artist, comics or otherwise. I would love to see him do more work on Batman. At least a limited series. Would be great if he could work with Alan Moore but that's just a dream...but that is what this thread calls for lol

He's best doing gothic work.

An early years series: Paul Dini and Darwyn Cooke

A present day series: Geoff Johns and Ethan VanSciver

All great suggestions! I can't decide which teams I like the most. I'm 100% with SpideyInATree love for Matt Wagner's stuff but Darwyn Cooke's style is also perfect for the early days.

Paul Dini and Neal Adams' stuff I'd welcome for either era.

I really could see the Johns/VanSciver pairing being a great one.

As for Dave McKean, refresh my memory on what he's done.

Dave McKean painted/illustrated Arkham Asylum: Serious House on Serious Earth. Does comic book work from time to time and frequently works with Neil Gaiman.

An early years Batman ongoing series... Alan Grant / Norm Breyfogle

A present day Batman series... Alan Grant / Norm Breyfogle

Isn't that obvious? Especially on the first I think they could do wonderful things.

Is Norm Breyfogle around at all anymore? I liked alot of his stuff too.
