Nicholson's Joker didn't STEAL anything. It was willfully given to him. Much like Jackman's Wolverine in the X-men franchise. It was NEVER a movie about Batman, the whole movie was an origin story of the JOKER. A twisted love triangle in which the JOKER tries to steal Bruce Wayne's girlfriend. The relationship with the JOKER and HIS sidekick, Bob the goon, and not Batman with his aprentice, Robin. It was about the JOKER's plan to end all of Gotham, and then Batman comes in to stop him at the end. It was the same in most of the other movies in that franchise...but it was Burton who started the trend when he gave the JOKER top billing in a movie entitled BATMAN.

Thats So True!

Most Overrated In Movies:the Joker
Most Overrated In Comics:the Joker
Most Underrated In Movies:the Penguin
Most Underrated In Comics:the Penguin

It Shouldve Ben About Batman Not The Joker. It Shouldve Been About The First The Uncanny Xmen Not Logan And About Wolverine Or Cyclopse At Least. It Should Have Been About Batman Solving The Mystery. Tim Burton Shouldve Gave Batman The Top Billing In A Movie Entitled Batman.

That's the exact same thing that I said:

It was both. A movie can be about more than one single matter. It happens with most of movies actually.

Batman's origin is told, but backwards. First you see this misterious being called Batman, no one knows who he is or what he is. Then you have Bruce Wayne and we know he is Batman and at the end we know why he decided to be Batman.

For that matter I could say B Begins was about Bruce's relationship with rachel (since she's there since scene 1) or that B Begins was about Ra's and his apprentice Bruce Wayne and not Batman and Robin.

Then B Begins would be about Ra's plan to destroy Gotham. If we insist in having that perspective.

Yes, and have you noticed how some movies are called King Kong but the story is about the romance between the girl and the sailor? Or it is called Jaws and you barely can see the actual shark?
