Exactly one month away from "the night"... so who's going to be camping out? And how long? :woot:

I'm not camping, but I'll be there opening night, first available showing.

Camping is needed for films like Lord of the Rings and MOSTLY Star Wars!!!.... Not for films such as spider-man... it's not nessecary!

I'm always camping out at the movie theater. I change what movie it's for everyday, and they just let me stay there. I never have to pay rent. It's wonderful.

^ tell me that you're KIDDING!!!?

WHEN are we going to have another franchise like this? Because I need one...all the blockbusters are good for a little bit, but I'm ready for another classic "wait at the movie theater" critically renowned amazing "one of the best movies ever made" fantasy trilogies.

why not???? i don't see why this isn't at the same level as those movies...w hat makes this so different? it's a trilogy just like those

Spider-Man fans are too cool to camp. ;)

Ill order the tickets online then hit the theater about an hour to an hour and a half early, there truly is no need to camp, at all, but i also dont live in a city like NY or LA.

right, that makes sense if you love in a small town...

but I mean, look at the PS3 and Wii... PS3 people camped 2 days, Wii people camped 1 night... everything MAJOR gets camped out for... and you don't count SM3 as being "major"?? it's the BIGGEST movie of the summer!!!

Well i dont live in a small town, well i mean its small compared to NY but its not considered a small town.
Now i camped out for a night for my 360 but had i not, i wouldnt have been able to get one. With the ability to purchase tickets online, there is no need to camp out for a film anymore.
Sure SM3 is gonna be huge but like i said, ill have my tickets WAYYY in advance, so NO need to camp out.

Spider-Man made more money that all those films you mentioned except Episode 1. Guess what? That means more people saw Spider-Man than any of those films besides Crapisode 1. I'm not including the original Star Wars because I assume you meant the prequels. Plus Star Wars has been re-released about 10 times.

Spider-Man 2 made more than all except Crapisode 1, Crapisode 3 and Return of the King. True, geeks make up most of the Star Wars and LOTR early crowds so that's usually the kind of person who camps out.

me, im going right after school, so i'll be there around 3:30.... good thing its in a mall so i can spend time in there while me and my gf wait n_n

Anyone who camps for a movie has no life.

I'll be there for like the 8 or 9 o'clock show...and I won't be worried to not be able to see it...my theater has places for people with credit cards to just buy tickets without waiting in long and stupid lines.

Aye. The earliest I've gotten there is like 2 hours ahead of time for Episode III.

I wanted to see that movie so bad...and like, one or two years after it came out, or something...I still haven't seen it, lol. Is it worthy to rent or purchase?

Camping out for a movie ticket is a bunch of hooey. Never had to do it for Star Wars, LOTR..and certainly not Spidey.

Transformers is another story for me...I'm seeing it on the midnight screening.

why? what's wrong with camping? it's fun, it passes the time... they're dedicated fans if they camp out...

I understand if you're busy or got school or work and can't spend so much time. but it's the same thing as I said earlier about the PS3 / Wii people. Given that was a bit different not knowing if they could get one... it's a matter of seats for movies.

I'm not here to argue the whole idea in this thread though... I just want to know who, if anyone, is going to?

If you camped out for the PS3 game, you have no life too.

And for your signature, or whatever it's called...300 and Shooter are men among boys with any of those other movies.

Touche, I'll agree there, that console sucks ass :oldrazz:

but SM3 definitely does not! despite they have the same logo :spidey:

I see the midnight releases too, no camping required. Whenever it comes to my attention that advance tix are available, the process to get said tickets is simple. Go to theater box office, purchase tickets, go home, arrive on the night of show.

The day I drop a sleeping bag in front of a theater, is the day I stop being a fan. lol

Moving to Non Spoilers, btw.

I have no intentions of camping out. I'll be there opening night. I kid you not. :woot:

Agreed. Especially in the age of Fandango.

It's not about tickets though... Of course everyone has their tickets... it's about being 1st in line and getting 1st pick in seats...
