Who's going to NYCC 2012?

I didn't see a thread started for this, but if I missed it, just merge. So who's going this year? Are you dressing up? Who are you going as? Are you as excited as I am! (which is really excited by the wayt Having some trouble deciding who to cosplay as, cause unfortunately, I have a budget. Here are my pics that I'm trying to narrow down to 3, and keep it as cheap as possible.

Trunks - DBZ

Darth Maul - Star Wars

Vega - Street Fighter

Adon - Street Fighter

Batman Beyond - Batman Beyond

Bane - The Dark Knight Rises

Red X - Teen Titans

Sasuke - Naruto

Shredder - TMNT 200x

So which 3 do you think would be the least expensive and coolest ones to do?

Im actually working on a bad ass knights watch costume for Halloween. I've spent so much time and money (3 months and over $700) on it that I think I may try and hit some conventions this year. Theyll be my first cons, too.

But to answer your question, I'd imagine maul would be the cheapest and easiest to do. They sell his outfit for pretty damn cheap at any costume shop, and then all you need is some black n red face paint which is equally cheap.

nice man! well if you're at NYCC maybe I'll see ya there haha. I wanna go as Maul so bad, but I wanna try the shirtless Maul, but I'd either have to paint my whole upper body black and red or buy a tight shirt and air brush it which I don't know how to do. Decisions decisions.

I'm going Friday and Saturday. I'll be Blade on Saturday for sure. Friday I'm still undecided.

I'd love to go, but unfortunately I can't afford it this year. Maybe 2013 will be my lucky year for being able to go...

I'm going to try and go this year. Last year, no one even checked our passes. Me and my friends walked right through the door. I'm probably not even going to buy the tickets and go after I get out of work that Saturday.

My girlfriend and I will be there all weekend. Look for Finn and Fiona from Adventure Time on Friday. My girlfriend will be Deadpool on Saturday.

I'll be there for all three days, but I doubt I'm going to dress up. I've never been big on wearing costumes, but last year I went as Clark Kent, with a Superman shirt exposed under my shirt/tie/vest. I'll be there mostly to take pics of cosplayers so I rather be comfortable because I know I'll be walking around a lot.
