I think a better title for this thread would be who's your favorite character in the movie other than Bruce Wayne/Batman. He's the true hero in the series and the easiest to get connect with and invest in. Other than Gordon, Alfred and probably even Lucius, Bruce is the only character i would have been emotionally affected if he had die. I know it's sad, but it's true.

Bruce Wayne/Batman
James Gordon (second favorite character in the whole series)
Alfred Pennyworth (great emotional scenes and amazing acting from Michael Caine)
Robin John Blake
Selina Kyle/Catwoman
Bane (would have been as high as Blake if they didn't kind of wimp him out at the end)
Lucius Fox
Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul

Enjoyed the hell out of everyone, but Batman/Bruce takes this one for me.

1. Bane/Bruce (tied)
2. Catwoman
3. Alfred
4. Blake
5. Dagget

4. Blake
5. Catwoman

It would come down between Bruce/Batman, Bane and John Blake. Though Bane would probably edge it simply because Tom Hardy was fantastic. Though sadly it seems like it will be something that is underrated when it comes to the overall recognition and realisation of the brilliant work he put in and pulled off here.

As much as I loved Catwoman, Bane owned the movie for me.

Selina
Bruce/Baman
Lucius
Alfred
Gordon

Hathaway was great in her role, but seriously guys, how can anyone seriously pick her over Bruce / Batman? She has some good scenes, so does batman, but this movie is really about Bruce Wayne, and he arguably has more, if not more emotional / impactful scenes / screen time than Selina

Selina Kyle was my favourite character in the movie, along with 17 other people in this poll. I don't know, I'm just guessing here, but it might have something to do with opinion.

This movie is still fresh, and after 11 viewings, (only cuz I haven't found a decent bootleg yet) Im still moved by the performances, but if this poll had been "fav character of the trilogy"... Now those results would really be interesting.

Completely agree! I mean don't get me wrong Anne was excellent in the role for sure, sexy and fun, but at times i couldn't stand some of the things she did like betrayed Bruce/Batman of course for let's face it selfesh reasons. She never even showed contact with Bane. But don't get me wrong she's still a really fun and bad ass character and delivered some great lines. It was nice to finally see a sexy strong woman in the series. And I liked that she ended up with Bruce in the end especially since she redeemed herself by coming back and basically saving his life and kissing him right before he gets in the bat. And I liked how in certain scenes like when he first came back and then when she asked for him to run away with her she clearly tries holding back emotions showing that she's starting to feel something for him.

I wish we definitely got more of Selina in this movie or at least Bruce and Selina to develop their relationship a bit more, but I feel that a Catwoman spinoff wouldn't work let alone a series focused on her. She works in Batman movies better than alone i feel even with the right actress. Same thing goes for Electra and Venom spinoffs. I just feel like superhero movies should focus on an actual superheroes that people can relate to and a hero that you know is a true hero and will give up their life to save millions of people. And Selina Kyle/Catwoman being a career criminal I feel isn't that kind of character even though she showed her true colors at the end, and I feel that's why most of these spinoffs fail. That's just the way I feel about the spinoff.

Out of the new characters, Bane was the most bad ass, Selina was the most sexy, fun and probably even interesting, but Blake in my opinion was definitely the most likeble. Bale and Hathaway had great chemistry which really shocked me and wish there was more scenes between them.

IS Selina not Selena... she was amazing... but Bale, Levitt and Caine were perfect, every ones on that movie were perfect... even Dagget and Stryver

Hathaway was solid, but I really don't think she's even in the top 3 as far as villains/antiheroes in this trilogy go. The people who keep saying she stole the show must have watched a different film. I loved bales portrayal of Bruce in this.. Awesome. And hardy as bane was incredible. Ive said before that it people just judged what he did on its own merits as opposed to always comparing it to Heath, he'd be considered one of the best comic villains ever.

Pray tell, who on earth is "Baman"?
You never heard of the Elseworld tale, where Bruce adopts the persona of Baman, sheep themed caped crusader, after being in the middle of a stampede of sheep as a child. :o

I guess I just have a hard time picking a character that I feel isn't usually the most likeble character around. I'm glad Selina survived the movie and final battle, but if she had died I wouldn't have felt any emotions like I did with Bruce/Batman or if Gordon, Alfred, Lucius (which he almost did) or maybe even Blake had died. Of course The Joker was probably my favorite character in The Dark Knight, but I wouldn't have felt like crying if he had died lol. I'm guessing though from your post and profile name you're a big Anne Hathaway fan?

She was a great anti-hero and probably the best in the trilogy, but I agree if she was ever even a villain she was certainly the weakest. Talia is the worst villain of the trilogy, but of course even what she tried to do was way worst than what Selina ever tried to do. She was definitely one of the top 5 best parts of the movie though, just needed a bit more of her. I never saw her as a villain in this, anti-hero with so many questionable actions in the first half, and then a bit of a heroine in the end. Definitely an interesting and sexy character and Hathaway handled the emotions perfectly.

Yeah like I said she did a nice job and was to me the best Selina/catwoman put on film(though that isn't a huge compliment given the garbage that came before) I just find those saying she somehow stole the show to be hyperbolic to the max. Hardy or bale were much closer to this level IMO.

I loved Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, he is an actor that is really starting to impress me. Even if I always remember him as Tommy from "3rd Rock from the Sun" haha

Agree! She was great in the movie, really hot, definitely had some of funniest lines, but other than look wise (for guys like me) I can't really say she stole the movie especially since she's missing so much in the second half. And while she steals many of her scenes, she's so untrustworthy in the first half it kind of makes it hard to root for her for a long time. But, I like that they basically give her an emotional arc in the movie and she ends up becoming a great ally to Bruce/Batman and that's when I started to truly careful her emotionally as a character. Of course I was rooting for the Joker in The Dark Knight when I probably wasn't suppose to lol.

Bwahahahaha. I thought of that often while watching the film. Hehe. He was supposed to eldest alien as well, but was often the most childish.

As for me, have to go with Bruce Wayne. I could never pick anybody else.
