Have you become one of those poor nostalgic fools that hates everything today's youth love, and talk about entertainment from when you were a kid like it was the best thing since sliced bread? I've done that a couple times with my younger cousins, then stopped myself short as I realized I sound like my older familiy members did back when I was watching Thundercats at age 6 and hearing them say how stupid the show was, and how good cartoons like Tom and Jerry were the real deal. Are you telling those damn kids to get off your lawn?

To be honest....television gets lamer by the minute. :o

Back in my day we ran home to watch quality ****ing cartoons like Batman the Animated series on Fox Kids.
Those Were The Days.

Run home from school, have a snack and Bam! Batman's on.

Well I also grew up on Tom and Jerry, so yes I think of them as the real deal. I use to watch Looney Tunes, Woody Woodpecker, Popeye and Tom and Jerry even though they were decades old. And these were the ones that are censored now because you can't show a cat blow his brains out or a stereotypical foreigner. :down

Anyways, yeah you don't seem to really appreciate what you had when you were younger until you see what's out now.

One of the last tmes I felt like that was in the Misc. Film thread when people were comparing Dead Man's Chest to being as epic as Empire Strikes Back. Stupid kids.... LOL. :cmad:

i never thought I'd hate saying this but I miss Disney Afternoon....

**** you yu gi oh, pokemon....

I do that all the time when I see little kids running wild and their parents do nothing. In my day, my mom woulda stopped that with the back of her hand!

Back in my day Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles was funny, not serious.

Back in my day I didn't have to fend for myself or have any worries.

Back in my day toys were awesome, and there was so much to collect.

Back in my day, it was awesome!

^Hence the edit. :o

back in my day we played with toys... not ****ing playing cards

back in my day toy guns looked like real guns.... not ****ing candy

back in my day you could play tag, and even go as far as smacking a girl's ass and never get in trouble

back in my day the sneakers didn't look like cars.

anyone remember them?:

I miss all of the good cartoons from back in the (my) day.
Beast Wars, early DCAU, Street Sharks, Johnny Bravo, Swat Cats, Dexter's Lab, Dragon Ball Z, early Nickelodeon, etc. I also remember when CN used to show Looney Tunes all the time. I used to love watching the stuff that my parents grew up on. I watch them now and think that they are brilliant, especially compared to today's bulls***. They are actually more funny as you get older.

I miss when I played OUTSIDE, and not went to someone's house to play video games.

The golden days.....:csad:

Yep everyday I sound like my grandfather rest his soul....I hate kids today:cmad:

Every weekday after school i looked forward to watch these guys.

I miss the days when Nickelodeon didn't suck.
Clarissa Explains It All, Salute Your Shorts, the Secret Adventures of Alex Mack, etc....

Nope. I realize most of the cartoons I watched as a kid were ****ty.
And I don't really care for nostalgia. I like to let the past stay buried:cmad::down

5 minutes ago? buried. 2 seconds ago? buried.
