It seems to me that the idea of psychics should have gone out the window with Santa clause and the tooth fairy but grown adults and quite a lot of them treat psychics as if it is something to actually consider being reality.

Sorry If this thread is breaking the rules.

Because my Grannie said I'd die alone and it's worked out so far.

They should all be gathered in a field and burned. Every single one of them should be hunted and burned.

The psychics or the skeptics?

Kev you should know me pretty well by now. What do you think?

It even seems ridiculous to be called a skeptic.

Your future is to merge with braincrusher, summon Cthulhu and drive him insane.

Psychic phenomena is real. I just think only a wildly small percentage of the population is able to substantially tap into it.

Good god why am I not surprised you're into this mumbo jumbo?

The only thing they tap into is absolutely nothing.

99.9% of the people who say they have psychic powers are crazy, frauds or idiots. The remaining 0.01% probably does and the ones who don't talk about having them are likely quietly trying to ignore that they have them and are trying not to go crazy due to them.

Fear of the unknown, superstition, gullibility, delusion, wanting to believe.
In other words - sky cake.

I'm sorry man I'd like to answer your question, but your username is too hysterical for me to concentrate.

I dont know if you are being serious but lets not take this thread down that path please

I honestly clicked on this thinking it was about PHYSICS. Sorry... My bad. Carry on.

Because people are scared. They'd rather believe that a woman can look into a crystal ball and tell them that everything is going to be okay rather than stay up all night worrying. It's a placebo that's all it is. So if believing in psychics help people get through the day more power too them. Most people get that it's fake but the lie gives them an ounce of control in their lives.
