Why doesn't Batwoman( Kathy Kane) wear a wig

I'm curious- why doesn't Batwoman(Kathy Kane) wear a wig to disguise those very distinctive Titian tresses of hers( other heroines such as Dove do so in order to mislead the public and or/ supervillains). Granted, a description (such as hair colour) fits thousands of women( or in the case of Ms Kane, hundreds- there aren't that many redheads), but sooner or later, someone will put "two and two together" and begin to suspect her true dual identity.

Being kickass? Hell, Det's one of the best books DC's publishing right now, and I can safely say that it's better then a lot of Dini's previous run.
