Whilst hunting is frowned upon? At least the deer or whatever didn't have to live in a cramped farm. I'm surprised more people don't find hunting less cruel. No, I'm not a hunter; I'm just too lazy.

Well, usually farm animals get used to feed people, hunted animals...not always. I would guess that's it.

Prbably because farm animals are used for FOOD and animals who are hunted are killed for sport.

because most hunting serves no purpose other than Ego, the guys that dress the kill and stuff and that "live of the land" sure, go nuts.
but the guys in Camo with the high powered riffles and scopes and deer scent and cameras and motion detectors....yeah, **** them. :down

most have never even seen a farm animal slaughtered. meat just magically appears in the shopping aisles.

Actually, in a lot of areas the hunting of certain animals is needed to keep their population down and free from interfering/harming humans.

i have a problem with hunting as sport, if you kill an animal to eat or make clothing, that's one thing, but if you kill one so you can have a pretty deer head on your wall...f**k you.

woah! I'm going to totally reevaluate my belief system:wow:

Hunting does work as population control though, I read some where that there's too many white tale deer in the U.S.

I've seen a cow being slaughtered.

Not pretty :csad:

Have you ever seen farmers rip carrots and the like out of the ground? Savages. :csad: :down

Most deer hunters are hicks; but people take up a Disney fantasy in witch nature is a peaceful place.

Because they generaly know nothing of how farm animals are killed for processing....but are constantly being reinforced by the biased liberal media of how evil hunters are.

..& they're not exactly given freedom to roam freely while they're alive either. :csad:

I'm not opposed to killing for food, self preservation, or self defense. Any killing outside those conditions, whether it be human, or animal, and I'm completely opposed to it.

I don't believe there is a difference between hunting for food or domesticating animals for food.

But Lobsters should not be cooked alive.

Lobsters die in about a second.

And the angel of the Lord came unto me,
snatching me up from my
place of slumber.
And he took me on high,
and higher still until we
moved in the spaces betwixt the air itself.
And he bore me unto a
vast farmland of our own midwest.
And as we descended cries of
impending doom rose from the soil.
One thousand, nay, a million
voices full of fear!
And terror possessed me then.
and I begged,

"Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?"
And the angel said unto me,
"These are the cries of the carrots...
the cries of the carrots.
You see, Reverend Maynard, tomorrow is harvest day,
and to them it is the holocaust."
And I sprang from my slumber, drenched in sweat
like the tears of one millions terrified brothers
and roared,
"Hear me now!
I have seen the light,
they have a consciousness,
they have a life,
they have a soul.
damn you!
Let the rabbits wear glasses,
save our brothers!
Can I get an amen?
Can I get a hallelujah?
Thank you, Jesus.

i hate poachers, bastards kill endagered animals for no ****in reason. id like to go hunt them

Deer have to be shot so that we don't hit them with our cars.:yay:

I'm an outdoorsman...I love to hunt and fish. If that makes me a redneck eventhough I don't live in mississippi nor alabama than so be it. Everything I kill is eatin and everything I catch as well. I love to go with family and friends to fellowship and enjoy the thrill of the hunt or fishing trip. But slaughtering animals just for sport and not for food isn't right at all...There should rules against wasting food. I have 2 White-Faced Fox Squirrels, an 8.6 bass, and soon to be a nice buck if I get one before deer season ends on Feb. 28. I spent $389 on my hunting lincense this year, so hopefully I can get another one before season ends...

You don't have to live in Mississippi or Alabama to be a hick.

You can be a hick in the middle of Manitoba.
