There are quite a few heroes NOT used in the Dark Reign story line.
One springs to mind DAREDEVIL :daredevil

Where is he? With his history with Bullseye, I thought he might of been used well before now,

What are your thoughts.

Anyone else you think should also be included in DARK REIGN?

Same goes for Loeb's Hulk, Millar's FF, Cap to some degree and I think Thor as well.

DD isn't ever in any crossovers, is he?

He's too cool for that stuff. Hell, he turned down Cap's New Avengers offer. Murdock just wants to be left alone.

I'm guessing that Murdock doesn't even know that "hawkeye" is Bullseye.

I think that's a safe bet. I mean, in Marvel time, Dark Avengers have been out for what, a week or 2?

DR is already getting kinda old but it would be ******ED if even more writers were writing DR story lines. So far Norman Osborn is sending Bullseye to kill half the MU in 30 different DR tie-ins. I'm glad they're not overdoing it.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I like most of the DR stuff I've read. The Avengers books have been really good and I really, REALLY like the Elektra mini so far. But it gets old if everyone is writing stories related to the latest status quo shift.

Daredevil just turns a blind eye from crossovers.

Loeb's Hulk will be involved in Dark Reign soon and Millar's Fantastic Four acknowledges it to the extent that Captain America and Thor do. In small doses, not overtly like Ms. Marvel, Wolverine, Invincible Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, Punisher, Thunderbolts, Amazing Spider-Man, and others currently are.

Those writers are too uber to be forced to do crossover events. They don't want too.

Just look at the news that JMS is leaving Thor, due to this very reason.

It can be good and bad. IMO..

I, personally, I'm happy Daredevil has stayed out of all crossover events the last few years.

"Dark Reign: The List-Daredevil"

Andy Diggle/Billy Tan
Sept. 10, 2009

It'll be the first Diggle issue of Daredevil leading into him taking over the title with Daredevil 501.

DD was in Infinity War...

He was also in both Contests Of Champions, although those weren't really "crossovers", per se....

He wasn't in anything recently though, was he? Secret Invasion, House of M, Secret War? Wait, he was in SW. Don't get me wrong, DD is great, but it just seems like he's in his own world in Hell's Kitchen.

^^ Agreed, but either way, Daredevil is awesome. I really don't mind his title being on it's own.

He had some good crossovers in Inferno didnt he?

I can't remember them of course.

Personally, I think Daredevil would be a good fit with the New Avengers.

^^ Yeah, I've always thought about that, though, I was never really 100% sure on it. Now, though, I'm starting to really think he'd be a fantastic fit for them.

Given that it's basically a team of his buddies, I agree. I don't think he really needs to join a team or anything, though. I'm no DD expert, but hasn't he generally been content to lord over Hell's Kitchen like it's his personal kingdom and focus all his energy there?

Well, I've always seen Daredevil as his own title. He doesn't seem to be in alot of crossovers lately. I mean, he's been in Deadpool: Suicide kings, but still. As I said though, I don't mind Dardevil being abscent from the mainstram big stories like Dark Reign.

I'm not much of a Deadpool fan, so neither do I. Plus, it fits with his fanatical devotion to Hell's Kitchen.

^^ Very tru, no doubt. aslo, I think Deadpool is an awwesome character. His new series is coming out soon, right?

Anyway, another reason I don't mind Dardevil being abscent is because his stories are so dark and addicting in their own self. He's just a brilliant character that doesn't really need a huge to story to be a great selling book, and I honestly can't wait for issue 500.

Deadpool's had a new series for a while now. It's up to #11, I think.
